About us

We are an open-play dog daycare and boarding facility with a trainer and groomer on staff. We employ approximately 20 human Camp Counselors to chaperone, care for, and clean up after our Canine Campers. Our webcams even allow pet parents to watch all the playtime fun. Our daycampers pay daily rates, and our boarders pay nightly rates, due at time of pick-up. We offer daycare and boarding packages, which decreases the base price for services. Our pricing is all-inclusive, meaning we don't charge extra to feed or give oral meds to your dog, and boarders receive as much play time as the daycampers. We pride ourselves on being a place where a dog can be a dog.

Camp Bow Wow has the option of over night "camping" and "day camp". Since I wanted potential day care for my dogs when we board them I took my two aging dogs for an assessment day. This was the day our moving truck was arriving and I needed to have them boarded but did not want them caged. I also wanted to determine the feasibility of using the setting for longer periods when we travel. The assessment (of their ability to interact appropriately with other dogs) involved no fee. The dogs had a great time and they passed! I definitely plan to use them for longer periods. By far the best option for boarding that I found in the area.

The dog is 9 years old, and loves going to Bow Wow. Whenever we get there, he pulls on the leash to go in. This has been his first facility boarding; he used to go to a petsitter's home. We recently moved to the area, and have boarded our dog for weekends and weeks. We had an unexpected death in the family on a Sunday morning. I called and was told ~ bring him right in, he can stay as long as needed. Everyone who works there is super friendly.I really like that he has most of the day free to roam with like-sized dogs. I tend to get a little mesmerized watching the web-cams, though.

They have a nice facility and they have people out there with the animals. They don't just leave the dogs out there in a kennel. They are very responsive.

I LOVE CAMP BOW WOW. I called a little bit too close to the holidays and they were booked, but they said they would call me with any last minute openings. In the meantime, I had booked my dog at another place to make sure I would not be left with no one to watch him. Camp Bow Wow called and told me they had an opening, so I actually cancelled at the other place so he could stay at Camp Bow Wow. The entire staff is wonderful and you can tell they really care about your dog! They are a little more expensive than other places, but the piece of mind you get knowing your dog is loved, safe, and gets plenty of playtime while you are gone makes it totally worth it! (I never could stand the idea of my dog being locked up all day and only let out a couple times a day to use the bathroom). If you are ok with your dog eating the food they provide, there is no extra charge (which saves you money buy not using your own food)! Max loves pig ears - I brought some when I dropped him off and they gave him one every night before bed! He didn't want to leave and was exhausted when he got home from all the exercise and playing!
