I just found out all of the sensors which were supposed to be hardwired are wireless sensors. They literally installed wireless sensors over the top of where the wires are coming out of the wall! That is not what I bought, because it’s not what we talked about. After all the effort to have the pre-wire, avoid replacing batteries, etc., I was shocked to find this out. I found this out because batteries (which I’m not expecting to have) in the sensors have been going bad and setting off the system at 3 am. I was told I was getting a hard-wired system, and got scammed!

Was told equipment would work with a smartphone. It does not. Installation was a continues up sale. Company did not want to honor all rebates promised before installation. It took several phone calls to have rebates honored.

I've had ADT since we've moved here and I can't wait to change it and I'm looking for somebody else. I bought my home 4 years ago and it had the wired alarm system from ADT and they came in and told me that I can't use that system and the $99 thing they have for installing a new system cost me almost $1400. They put a whole new wireless system that I don't need and now I have two of everything, one that works and one that didn't work. The guy that installed it put double sided tape on the sensors and last year everything started falling off and all of the alarms have missing parts and missing sensors. They sent another guy who kept looking for everything and found one fire alarm downstairs that was behind the sofa, which we looked everywhere for but couldn't find, and they finally had to put it back in with screws. And because its wireless it's battery operated, so every once in awhile you get one alarm for a low battery and then you have to go back through the list to find out which one it is and some of those batteries you can change yourself and some of them you have to call them to change. It's a nightmare and he almost burnt my house down. He wired the transformer for this new system using the existing panel transformer which apparently the guy before me covered up with a wall so I couldn't see it, but we smelled something burning one night and ran around the whole house looking for it. I could smell it but couldn't find it, so luckily it didn't catch on fire or otherwise it would have caught the whole house on fire and there was no way I could have found out where it started. I really don't like ADT at all and I know this guy cheated me by saying the system didn't work because it was working for about 2 years before me and I wouldn't recommend them to nobody.

They are very professional and reliable. Overall, I have been satisfied with the services and will continue using their services.

We have been pleased with the system ever since we got it. If anything happens, I know I would have someone I needed here just as soon as they could get here. I feel like the house is protected, and I have peace of mind. I have had no problems with it at all. I would use this provider again.

I thought the initial installation price was a bit high, but after they installed, I had problem after problem.  Their customer service was horrible.  They didn’t want to give me a refund.  They were terrible.

They are very efficient and definitely on time.  They come up with suggestions if you are not sure exactly what you need.  They were fair on the price.

They do the installation and keep up with its service. I would recommend them to others. I would go with them again in the future.

They were prompt for the initial evaluation and later for the appointment to reinstate the system. Because we didn't have a land line, they charged us $298 to install some type of cell tower receiver, plus $8 extra per month. The total monthly fee is $40.99. We'd gotten a flyer from them in the mail that gave us two months free. They did a thorough job of assessing the risk of a break in, and got the system up an running after a couple of hours of work. They wanted to do a 24 month contract, but I was able to negotiate down to 12 months. So, there is some flexibility in the length of the contract.

We were happy with the service and they did a great job. They made sure to answer all of our questions. We got a discount through USAA. This is an insurance and banking program for the military. We basically saved about half the price.

We have used ADT for over twenty-eight years, and at three previous residences. Their sales representative made suggestions on economic ways to deal with specific issues (such as pets and possibility for unauthorized access by breaking any of 10 back windows). He was prompt and was the installation crew. They explained the system features and options at all phases of the work. The price was higher than expected, but the service was excellent.

We had a system installed about twenty years ago and have had a good experience with them ever since. They did a good job of installing the system as well as explaining it. The response time was very quick and we feel safer and more secure with this service.

I really like that I have not had any instances with their services. They are really on the ball. In talking with them and dealing with them I feel comfortable using them. They are doing a good job as they have always answered all my questions politely and thoroughly. They also treat me with great respect anytime I am in contact with them.

We had an alarm system installed three years ago and ADT has been monitoring it ever since. We only had one false alarm and they called immediately. We have no complaints about their service.

We have used them for the last five years now and they do a very good job. They provide us a very good service and they also do a nice job of explaining our system, should we have a question. We did have a false alarm once and they responded with in a matter of minutes. We are very happy with their service.

The workers were professional and clean in appearance. They did a great job and they did it in a timely matter. The work was completed within three hours. I've had them out on four other occasions to do work for me.

We had them install the unit years ago. We actually had an accident recently and triggered the alarm. They called almost immediately. They have been very helpful on other issues we have had. They have always been willing to come right out to assist us.

We have no complaints regarding ADT. We had one false alarm and they answered right away. Other than that our system seems to be working well and they've tested it several times from their office.

My son had the system installed eight years ago and they did a very good job. They explained everything about the system and how to operate it. The alarm has gone off accidentally and they called within minutes. I would not stay here alone without this system keeping me safe.

ADT Security Services had made my family and I feel very safe and secure in our new home. We live in a good neighborhood but safety is a really good thing to have. ADT does an excellent job at providing that safety. We pay quarterly for their service.

We are very happy with ADT's service. We have been using them for the last nine years and we are very happy with them. We did move to a new home and we went with them again. They did an excellent job of installing our system and it gives us a great sense of security. Their response time is incredibly fast.

I felt so secure with the service provided by ADT. I have tested their service by setting off my alarm and I was impressed with the response time from the police and the ambulance. They have only increased their service fee $10 in 4 1/2 years and it is very good service.

I really liked their service. In this neighborhood, everyone in the watch program uses them also. They are very alert to our systems. We haven t had a real time where something set the alarm off. We did set it off our selves, and their response was right away. This is a big time alarm outfit that really knows their stuff.

I had a horrible experience with ADT. We were very excited to get an alarm system in our home, so when the gentleman from ADT came out and installed it. We were pleased but unfortunately that did not last long. Almost the first day we had the alarm installed it started dialing 911. This happened 4-5 times in the 2 months we had the alarm. I contacted ADT but they said it was a problem with the phone line, so I contacted the phone company. The phone company came out and reworked all the wiring for our phone, but the problem persisted. They said it was an issue with ADT. I called ADT and told them what was going on and all they could tell me was it was a problem with the phone line. I tried to explain to the person I was speaking to, it couldn't be a problem with the phone line, but the person just wasn't listening. At fifty dollars a false alarm, this was becoming a very expensive problem for us, so I called ADT and had them remove the alarm from our home. I will ever use ADT again.
