360 Painting Upstate SC

I was very impressed by Estuardo when he came to estimate the job. He seemed to know his stuff, explained that the company would provide free color consultation, cover all furniture and floors with plastic, use specific brands of primer and paint, and pointed out a few small areas of drywall that would need to be replaced. I was so impressed by Estuardo that I had it put in the contract that Estuardo and his crew would perform the work personally. It turned out that the "color consultation" consisted of Estuardo bringing the sample book from Sherwin Williams and telling us to pick out our colors. On the day the painting was to begin, the painters, without Estuardo, showed up with paint and primer three levels bow what the contract called for. I am convinced that if I hadn't checked the label and caught their 'mistake', the cheaper paint would be on my walls now. The owner, Trevor, agreed to a discount to use the non-returnable paint as the first coat, but in the end, refused to discount the final invoice. What was promised to be a 5 day project became a 12 day ordeal. None of the furniture was covered, the new laminate floors are scratched and scarred, my custom desk has gouges in the raw edge wood top, and the drywall section that needed replacing was just painted over. And the part in the contract about all the work being done by Estuardo and his crew? After paying the deposit, we were told that Estuardo's primary job is doing estimates and getting jobs signed up... Not working hands on... Would have been nice to know before we paid over $5500.
