Southern Concrete Finishing & Masonry

The Southern Concrete Finishing crew came to my site and Graded the area I had chosen to have my steel building erected.  Once they had the site prepared, they built the forms and placed them where they intended to pour the concrete for the footings, and pour the concrete for the slab.  Before bringing in the concrete truck, they placed the anchor bolts required by my metal building manufacturer as required on my blueprint.  They were ready to begin working and finishing the concrete as it was delivered by the concrete trucks.  Once the concrete begun to set up they paid close attention making sure my slab correctly level, and when the concrete had set up, they made the saw cuts they explained to me prior to my hiring them!  I am very satisfied with their work, and their professionalism!

I obtained John's name from another company as not many do driveway/pad type work unless it is more "decorative". We needed straight concrete work. John and crew due to the weather had to hand dig the areas for concrete. Bobcat could not be used without completely destroying yard. He added an 11'X15' area to end of driveway and added a 12' X16' pad with 6' x 12' walkway from porch door to hot tub pad. Due to variance in ground height from pad to walkway, John created a walkway that in the end exceeded what we had wanted and looks phenomenal. He also removed all the limbs and tree trunks from trees I had cut down that were unrelated to concrete work. Great Job John!!

Job was done sooner then promised.  His helper was very professional and took pride in his work.  He did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.

Two days later, on a Saturday, John and his helper spent most of the day tearing out the 2 damaged sections, a little over 200 square feet and hauled it away. They came back the next week and completed the job in one day, and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend this company.

i really liked the quality of john's work. they work hard and provide a very high quality service. i recommend him for any sort of concrete work. he has done a lot of this and it shows. he uses a lot of thought in planning drainage. the finish of his concrete is really nice. he puts lots of expansion cuts to avoid cracks. just a superb job. i am very pleased.
