This gentleman is experienced, conversant, knowledgeable and a terrific representative of a declining select group of artisans. He followed up with a voice mail left for him regarding our clock problem. Unfortunately, we played phone tag a couple of times. With that resolved, he responded in a very reasonable time with a service call to our home and had the clock up and running cleaned and serviced within an hour. Pricing was very fair and I have no reservations with highly recommending him for similar situations. Although I initially found him through other online searches, I did find him subsequently on Angie's List so I am leaving my comments here for other members.

Mr. Sease was very responsive--returned calls promptly. He originally said it might be 3-4 weeks before he was in my neighborhood (which was fine), but came within a week. Price was reasonable, especially for wall clock.

Mr. Sease was professional and timely (no pun intended). He cleaned, oiled and set up the clock. It needed time to run before synching with the correct time. Mr. Sease would not accept payment until that had been confirmed and the job complete. Less than 24 hours later, the clock was running perfectly.

Tim arrived at time promised, dressed neat and clean. I asked him about his background and experience. He gave me all the details of his experience (43 years) and explained he is always busy, mostly with previous customers. Once he started working, he explained every step and action. After reassembling the clock, he put it through a complete operational check. He answered every question I had. He cleaned up after the service and the room was returned to it's original condition. I am totally satisfied with the total service

It is really nice because he comes to pick up the clock then he drops it back off when he is finished. He does good work.

Tim arrived on time and got right to work in setting up our clock and showing us how to adjust it. We have only needed him one other time to adjust the timing on our clock in the 23 years we have owned it. When he came the second time, he polished the weights and checked for any necessary cleaning. He checked out a couple of parlor clocks we have in our home and adjusted them accordingly. We are extremely happy to recommend him.

While my husband was deployed with the Army, we moved into temporary quarters in an aparment and all our stuff was in storage. The grandfather clock never worked when we got it out of storage. We took it to a local clock repair, and he cleaned it and got it working, but after returning back home...... it didn't run.
I looked for a clock repairman who would make housecalls and Mr. Sease fit the bill. I called him and made an appointment for several days later. He arrived, spent about 45 minutes tinkering with the insides of the clock, and got it working. After almost 5 years of missing the comforting and quot;dongsand quot; of the clock, it is working...... and working great!!!! He even called about 4-5 days later to make sure the timing was set correctly and the clock was keeping the correct time. It was and he even set the phase of the moon!!!
I have now found MY clock repair person--- he was professional, educated me about routine maintenance, how often the clock needed to be cleaned (about 5 years) and what kind of oil to use. Hey, if he an keep the clocks in downtown Columbia on Main Street running--- that was a vote of confidence!!!!

I would highly recommend him!!!!!!

Mr. Sease did his work in a competent professional manner. However, I have not been able to get in touch with him for months to come back and do some follow-up repair. I had to use another clock repair service since I could not get Tim to return my phone calls. This is a shame, as he's a very good watch and clock repairman.
