I got four estimates from different roofing contractors. (All local, I'm not interested in some national storm chaser company subbing work back to local guys.) Troy Matthews came in as the low bidder. (not by a lot but he did offer to fix a vinyl problem in his estimate that no other roofers offered to repair. The guys showed up promptly when Troy promised and my roof looks AWESOME. Troy also repaired some problems the original roofer created by not doing the original installation properly. The crew is all American and they get to work promptly and do not mess around. They cleaned up all of their mess and got my roof done in three days.

These folks came highly recommended from a professional painter we like and use regularly. They did a good job and cleaned up everything very well. They were not the lowest quote, but had the painter's recommendation and we liked them. We also asked for extras (higher quality materials) which increased the price. We are happy with our choice and would use these friendly and attentive folks again.

Besides having an A rating in Angie's List I also had a good reference from an office co-worker. Their quote was lower than others for the same shingles and additional work (plywood replacement and aluminum drip trim). They start and completed the work as promised, leaving the job in a clean condition at the end of each day and at completion

They are some good old South Carolina boys. It took them a little longer to do the job as opposed to the bigger crews other companies have. I am really pleased with their work, my whole interaction with them, and they all speak English.

He found the leak which was not detected by the person who put the roof. He fixed it and he was wonderful. It was a family business and he was hard working. He was caring and pleasant. His price was right in the ballpark. They had very good integrity and they were extremely careful with the clean up. I would use him again in future if need be.
