Mark and his team were very professional. They showed up on time every day, and worked through some terrible heat. This job didn't drag on...they were finished within a week! I have since recommended him to many others who have hired his team, and been very pleased with their final product. His price was very fair, and the final product that much better. I have gotten so many compliments on this deck. Most say it is the prettiest deck they have ever seen built. You would be remiss if you didn't have Mark come give you an estimate. He draws out a sketch for you to have a visual on dimensions, he is open to suggestions, and he has plenty of ideas to offer if you want them. I had a 16x18 screened in porch added on top, with a 14x16 deck outside of that. he also added on the same dimensions underneath to give it a Mountain House type feel.

Mark, is an extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and trustworthy professional. He pays attention to every detail. I found Mark's crew to be just as skilled and professional as he is himself.

The process could not have gone smoother. Mark is very responsive to both phone calls and emails and was willing to meet me in the evenings as required. Mark offered a lot of good ideas, was willing to investigate and quote every option I asked about, and could not have been nicer.
Mark was always on time to meet with me, started construction on the scheduled date, and finished earlier than expected. Mark met with me throughout and after the project to go over work performed and make sure I was satisfied.
The quality of Mark's construction is outstanding.

We obtained six quotes before deciding on Mark with Better Built. Why? Although he was not the cheapest nor the highest, he listened to what we had in mind, was able to make suggestions that other contractors had not even thought of to ensure a quality job, and then continued to exceed our expectations thru the entire process. If you want a quality job and someone who is reliable and flexible thru the construction period when upgrades are made, than this is who you want. We still receive compliments on our porch and are proud to show/talk with others about our experience. Will contact him again when we gear up for the next project.

Our deck had been built around a pool which was removed leaving a large area of open and unfinished decking. Best Built came out within 2-3 days of our call and took measurements and even gave some advice and ideas for finishing the deck. After the contract was signed the work began within 1-1/2 weeks. They arrived promptly on the agreed upon day and worked till thunderstorms stopped them. They finished the work the following day and cleaned up the area the next day. They were respectful, cheerful and obviously willing to please and to do a good job.
They replaced the deck boards and built a handsome railing to enclose the open side - adding a set of stairs with safety railings. They fulfilled our requests completely.

We would hire them again without any concern.
