POWELL'S TREE SVC

In the first part of August, 2010, this company took down 3 pine trees in my back yard. At the end of the day, Powell said he would be back to grind my stumps because the ground was a little wet and he said he didn't want to damage the neighbor's side yard with his equipment. I made a stupid mistake and paid him in good faith. For the next month, I called him and left vm reminding him that he still needed to grind the stumps. He never showed or called. When it WAS a month later, I called him and he answered. I told him I was having a new tree delivered the next day and needed the stumps gone. He said he was "ON A BIG JOB OUT OF TOWN" and would TRY to get here. The new tree came, but he did not. I still have stumps 16 months later!! Soon after Powell left, a friend climbed up to trim some trees and he showed me damage that Powell had done to the trunk of a nearby tree, and a limb he had left hanging. I would say, DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!
