Blueprint Construction

Description of Work: The owner of the company, Raul Garcia, and his crew completely demolished our old deck. They cut the refuse into manageable pieces, packed all of the trash into portable bins provided by Waste Management and left us the information so that we could schedule trash pickup at our own convenience. Raul obtained all of the materials used to build our deck. The old deck was improperly built, so Raul had to survey the area, locate the best place for the footings, and design and build the deck around that. Our property slopes steeply toward the back, so the deck is elevated about 10 feet off the ground to be level with the first floor of our home. They poured 120 lbs of concrete to secure the new footings, built an approximately 10 x 15 deck, including rails and stairs, in just over three days. When the deck was completed, he cleaned up the area, even rearranging the stepping stones that lead from the stairway into the yard and covering the area where the old footings had been with sod cut from our yard. He and his crew took care not to damage existing landscaping and made sure, before starting demolition, to secure all of the items we wanted saved (bird baths, feeders, etc). The new deck is gorgeous, structurally sound, and has added more value to our home than it cost to build. The work was done quickly (3 days from start to finish) and with only the most minimal interruption in our lives. We barely knew that Raul and his two man crew was there. There were no delays - they even worked through light rain - and Raul even left behind leftover materials so that my husband can use the wood to build tables for the new deck.
