Wood Artistry & Restoration started in 2000 following a love for fine furniture and antiques. After learning the craft of traditional finish techniques, interests grew to building. This eventually led to building and finishing fine cabinetry. Today, the same principles are applied to refurbishing and renovating kitchen cabinets as well as custom built-ins, stand alone cabinets and islands. All finishes are environmentally safe, durable and beautiful. The entire team pays special attention to the details to ensure your complete satisfaction while explaining options to make your vision a reality.

Fantastic. Jeff the owner communicated well. Hit target start date that was weeks out because they were busy. Finished within target finish time as well. Jeff was flexible and easy going as we made changes along the way. His team were nice people and you didn't feel like you might not trust leaving them alone in your home. They did quality work and willing to come back to adjust anything afterward. Jeff does what he promises, happily with a smile. He runs his business as a small business should be run. Highly recommend

Jeff and team did an awesome job of helping us transform our dated yellowed maple cabinets to a clean white look. This was achieved by removing our upper cabinets, which were approximately 12 inches from the ceiling, and replacing them with new locally made cabinets that are now flush to the ceiling and finished with crown molding to give a truly custom cabinet look and feel. For our lower cabinets, they replaced our cabinet doors and painted the trim to give one seamless look from top to bottom. And for the cabinet holding our built in ovens, they had to seem together new and old cabinets, which now appear as one seamless cabinet. From our initial discussion through the final installation and a short follow-up punch list, Jeff and team were responsive, meticulous and for the most part stayed true to our timeline. They are highly competent professionals as well as delightful individuals with whom to work. I recommend them without reservation.

Dale helped me plan the project and he and Jeff built it, then installed it in my home. It is exactly what I needed and expected. The quality seems excellent, and they were very careful and caring about every aspect of it. It’s refreshing when people take pride in their work. And they were so nice and personable, too! Had good recommendation going in and we were overwhelmed with the awesome results!! They turned an empty alcove that was awkward to use into a fantastic built-in shelving unit with storage and a perfect tv mount!

It went great. Jeff, Dale and team worked closely with us from the initial job specifications phase, through the final installation and a short follow-up punch list. They met every deadline we requested and we were in constant contact about our priorities and time constraints. Everything went very well. I found Jeff and the Wood Artistry guys on Angie's List and knew right away they were the right team for the job. Jeff is extremely thorough and detailed with all aspects of a job. Additionally, he has great insight and suggestions for when you're uncertain on certain details. A lot of the final result has his vision blended with ours. We were very pleased with the outcome. We found that Wood Artistry was a great value for the level of quality and expertise they bring. Are they the fastest in the world? No. And I had no problem with that - in fact, it was my preference. If you go in knowing that it takes a little longer for detail and precision, then you won't be disappointing with time-frames. On top of that, it was a pleasure having them here on a daily basis. Jeff, Dale, Henry, Darrin, etc. almost felt like part of the family for the time they were here. On the days they weren't here, my 3-year old son would roam the house looking for them and ask why they weren't here. If you're looking for custom, quality, knowledgeable, detailed, friendly assistance with your projects, I can't imagine you'd find anyone that would check all the boxes like these guys. My wife wants to find another project for them just to have them back (she also thinks money grows on the tree in our front yard - but that's a story for another day).

Our kitchen cabinets have been a problem since about two years after we moved in here in 1996. We had them painted twice, and the last contractor apparently used the wrong kind of paint, causing severe yellowing. Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job and the cabinets look better than they ever have. The soft close option is wonderful as well.

Wood Artistry did a fantastic job on our kitchen. We have all white cabinets, and the color had started to yellow, and some of the paint was starting to flake off. We also wanted to have granite countertops installed. Lastly, but most important, we had an island that served as both a cooktop and raised bar section for eating - we wanted this island redesigned. I made an appointment with Jeff, and from there on, they were always on time for any appointments we made. Professional and just easy to work with. Refinishing all our cabinet doors and cabinets was right in their wheelhouse, and we are very pleased with their work. As for the island, Jeff designed an island based on a picture we had found. It is simply beautiful. It is the centerpiece of our kitchen and we cannot be more pleased with the outcome. Working with Jeff was about as easy as it gets. Although he does not do countertops, he recommended another company that was just as easy to work with as was Jeff. The coordinated the project, and the outcome was perfect. All within originally stated quotes. A real plus for me, was "no surprises". Jeff did just did what he said he would do,, when he said he would do it, at the cost he said it would do it for. I would highly recommend Wood Artistry.

After struggling with finding the right contractor that fit our needs and price and vision, We are so happy that we found Wood Artistry on Angie's List. Owner, Jeff Adams is a wonderful person to work with. Jeff is honest and trustworthy. His prices are reasonable. Jeff was always responsive to our concerns. Jeff and Dale transformed our kitchen with their expertise refinishing our cabinets with new doors, molding, and paint. You would never know that the cabinets are original. The crown molding and bottom molding give our kitchen a whole new look. The back splash Subway tile that was installed completed the kitchen. Jeff also took our half closet pantry and transformed it with pull out shelves that matched the doors on all our cabinets and found a solution for our blind spot cabinet to make it a usable space.
We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff Adams of Wood Artistry & Restoration was a consummate professional from the beginning. He knew how to execute our vision to turn my '90's outdated oak kitchen into a modern and elegant showplace - the results are spectacular!! Jeff made suggestions that other contractors do not include such as slow-close drawers and cabinets and hidden hinges - and replacing the floor inside several cabinets where there was deterioration. His crew is meticulous and the main project manager for my kitchen was Dale - he went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was happy with the results - he provided superior service! Jeff was always accessible for questions or to roll up his sleeves and get "in the weeds" with painting and installation - he painstakingly looked for imperfections and was dedicated to exceeding our expectations.
Darren - "the tile guy" - did an exceptional job on our carrera marble backsplash. This was very expensive tile and we wanted the installation to be flawless - and he actually sorted through the boxes to find the best tiles and once completed this was a stunning success - I called him the "Master of Tile Installation"!
Overall, Jeff and his team delivered world-class service and were dedicated to understanding our needs, resolving issues, and achieving results that set the bar higher! We are thrilled with the final results!!

They did an excellent job and definitely know what they're doing. Very good to respond and explain when I had questions. Most of the work was completed during the day while I was at work, I felt very comfortable with them being in my house while I wasn't there. They were patient with me and my requests. Overall very pleased with my results and I would definitely use them again.
