Great work. They did what was required to make the job turn out great. Finding contractors who pay attention to detail is difficult and they did it well.

Chris and his crew did a great job installing 1700+ sq ft of Hallmark flooring plus stairs. He provided clear estimates (cost + time). There was one surprise with unexpected hidden flooring that needed to be pulled up but he brought the issue to attention right away, with a revised estimate, and brought in more people to ensure the project was completed on time. Our house has never looked better.

Superior Floors exceeded our expectations. They were professional, prompt and very nice to work with. Our floors look great. They refinished our entire downstairs existing floors and installed oak floors in four bedrooms. Great family owned business that is trustworthy and honest. We could not be happier.

I am glad I used them and you will be too! They stripped and removed the old flooring, then installed new hardwood flooring. We also had them change the stairs from carpet to hardwood to match the first floor. They just do it right!

Chris and Leo did a wonderful job. The job was the installation of 1200 sq.ft of hardwood and 420 ft. Of baseboard. Some others we interviewed said we had to remove the old hardwood, but Chris advised against this. (It was glued to a plywood subfloor which would have been a horrendous job to tackle removal.) They had to move a lot of heavy furniture and they did it so well as they went from section to section. They were very prompt, set up the saw in our driveway and used a canopy when it rained. They cleaned up thoroughly every day and stuck to the schedule that they gave us. I highly recommend Superior Floors.

These are some of the most professional craftsman we have ever worked with. Many companies either would not work on stairs or quoted very high prices. Superior did 2 sets of stairs extremely well (not easy work) and matched the stains perfectly to the existing hardwoods. We recently got rid of the last of the carpet in our house by doing the entire upstairs, which consists of 3 large bedrooms and a large hallway. They helped us find the exact type of flooring we were looking for (heart of pine) and installed it beautifully, on time every day and worked to make everything perfect. A WONDERFUL experience from start to finish!

We did two projects with Superior Hardwood Floors and are extremely happy with their work. The team replaced some old oak, parquet and carpeted floors with new engineered hardwood (~800sf). And then they refinished other oak flooring to match the new engineered wood color (~450sf). During the projects, they uncovered the source of a leak that was damaging our old floors (and were so patient while we got it fixed), repaired the subfloor, and even remedied where our floors were not supported properly. Through the entire process, they were responsive and professional. The finished work is beautiful, and we felt that we received top notch service and product for a really reasonable price!

They showed up on time each day. The work was completed as promised. The estimate was agreed to and did not increase. They cleaned up their work and was very accommodating to any questions or special needs along the way. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a hardwood floor company.

Chris and his team did a great job on our floors. They had to remove old flooring that was glued down, remove carpet and prepared the area for new Monterey flooring. I was surprised on how quickly they got the job done. They arrived on Monday and were done with the entire project by late Wednesday evening.

Superior Hardwoods provided a beautiful and quality product and installed perfectly. They were friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in having hardwoods installed.

We had major construction completed on our home that involved removing walls and raising floors. We leveled flooring throughout the foyer, dining room, living room and kitchen. We wanted to install the same floor throughout which involved covering existing tile in the kitchen and the new raised wood sub floor in the other areas. We wanted to nail the floor over the wood and then float the floor over the kitchen to eliminate the need for separators or dividers. It is a big space. We contacted three companies for estimates. Chris from Superior Hardwood Floors is an owner operator. He is the only salesmen who came out that also installed floors. He is also the only contractor who said we could nail and float the same floor across and eliminate the need for dividers. We went with Chris. The installation was a three day job. Chris and Leo showed up everyday on time, worked all day professionally and quietly - and completed an outstanding job. I love my floor. The trim work around my fireplace is amazing. And they also supported the thresholds into our sunroom. We couldn't be happier. I heartily recommend Superior Hardwood Floors.

Chris and Leo were very professional, did very good work, and completed the work in the timeframe quoted. Dust was tolerable but they also cleaned/dusted the reachable areas before they finished.

As you can tell from the photos it went amazing!!! What you can’t see though is that I had two other quotes from “A” rated members which would have been a disaster. I knew straight off that Chris knew his stuff when he told me that unless I changed the balluster spacing, it would not pass code when I sell my house. Not only that, the other two quotes were for “sanding and refinishing” my existing posts—which turned out to be poplar-not oak. Needless to say, the stain never would have matched. Chris gave me as good a price-actually better with the cash discount, and he REPLACED all the handrails and posts. On a personal note, Chris and Leo (owners) are a pleasure to have around. They are friends that have been working together for years and it shows. They did all the work themselves in 5 days and after each work day, they cleaned up the work area and organized their tools. Whenever, there was a decision to be made, they informed me of the pros and cons of each option and the result is amazing. Great work ethic! I would never go anywhere else for any service they offer. If you are considering changing your carpeted staircase to hardwood then do yourself a favor and call them first. P.S. They don’t do painting so expect to have a good bit of touch up work to do since removing the carpet exposes mainy non-painted wood surfaces.

it went very well from day one. They always arrived on time. They cleaned up well. Finished ahead of time. I LOVE MY FLOORS. They listened to what I wanted vs. other vendors who tried to convince me to used engineered flooring.
