Fantastically. Mike is beyond meticulous! His came in early and under budget, and the work he did is second to none, cleaning up after himself every step of the way.

He was very professional. We contacted him on a Tuesday and the work was done by Friday. We would highly recommend him!

Mike was nothing short of terrific. I contacted him by email and got a response within 12 hours (I tend to email late night) - he was very responsive and clear by email and provided me a quote by looking at pictures of our stairs (baluster on left, molding on right, gate nightmare!). We set up an appointment that worked great for me and likely meant he left his house before 7am. He arrived a couple minutes early, was very friendly and knowledgeable, explained to me exactly what he was going to do and how everything worked. I felt comfortable enough to leave him to lock up the house as I headed to work. Came home to a beautifully done job, even my very picky husband loved it - the installation is simply perfect and worth every penny!

My first contact with Palmetto was with his wife Kim on the phone. She could not have been friendlier, more helpful and professional. Mike got back to me right away and was able to quickly make an appointment to install the gate. He called to say he would be about 15 minutes late, which I really appreciated!
He was well-prepared, knowledgable, professional and did what I never could have done - installed a gate on an angle with 5-inch baseboards in the way! He was extremely candid and pointed out a couple of other obvious safety concerns which I immediately took care of.

Palmetto Childproofing did a fantastic job designing a safety gate solution that could provide protection for our 7-month old son and accommodate the unusual alignment of walls and handrails that make up our home's staircase. Owner/installer Mike arrived early, explained his home survey results clearly and candidly, and did an expert job installing the new safety gates at the bottom and top of our staircase. What we appreciated most is that Mike did not try to scare us into buying every childproofing product on the market, nor did he make us feel as if our house is a death trap for babies. Instead, he pointed out some obvious and not-so-obvious safety hazards and suggested courses of action to mitigate their risk. Overall, Palmetto Childproofing was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend their services.

Mike was very prompt and professional. He provided the gate and installed it at a great price. He was also very helpful in demonstrating how to best use the gate.
