If I could give 0 stars I would. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM - DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS MAN. Just google him and see all the horrible things he has done to people. I WISH I HAD DONE SO BEFORE I WORKED WITH HIM. Don't make the same mistake I did. It was like complete strangers wrote a full story about my exact experience. The little work he did do was decent but everything else you read is 100% true. Takes deposits, works for like an hour or so and leaves, promises to show up and then ghosts you, comes in for a bit and piddles around then has some excuse to leave...he forgot something or he has an emergency. Brought his 12 year old son with him most of time, but my favorite was when his "wife" texted my husband Sunday am saying that Jerry was too tired to work and he won't be coming today. The worst part.. he ghosted us for a week.. said his down syndrome daughter was sick - NOW...I don't believe that for a second based on what I have read. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND USES THEIR CHILD TO SCAM PEOPLE. DISGUSTING.

I talked to him back in April. He had put me off until June because of weather, other jobs, etc. He came on Thursday, June 6, 2013. This is a 16 ft. by 24ft. deck. He turned over 8 boards. He split a piece off the seventh board. He told me several times that "this is a really well built deck" (meaning it was difficult to get the boards up) He left about 1:30 PM telling me it was too hot and he would be back the next day at 7:00 AM. No show. His wife called about 10:00 AM telling me there was a family emergency and he would call me that night. No call. I called him the following Monday. He said he would be there that Saturday with some help. Again no show. I've tried several times to get him on the phone. I've left messages for him but he does not return the calls. I am left with a deck that has 8 boards turned, i board completely removed and split, and nails removed from 3 other boards, the 8 boards flipped are a different color than the rest of the deck.

He also stained the house, ran out of stand we bought more stain for him. He only completed 80% of the job. We advanced him $250 to help him out with travel and he promised he would would come back and finish the work but never came out. HIs wife called and said the key was at the house and I can go get the key myself. I said I wouldn't come get the key unless he gives me some of the money back than I am going to the sheriffs office. The wife than claimed he did leave $150 for me. The work seems fine but he didn't finished to finish. He has poor work ethics.
