Exceedingly thorough. Scheduling was easy and he was able to complete the inspection quickly and the provided us with the report in a very timely manner. He also took the time to discuss any issues we had and answer all our questions.

Inspector Paul has inspected several homes for me over the last 14 years. He has saved me from buying some lemons!! He is knowledgeable and very thorough!

Excellent. We hired Paul and are much more comfortable with the house we are purchasing. Prior to that inspection, Paul identified major issues that saved us from purchasing a home with many costly repairs that were not easily apparent. Extremely thorough. It is rare to find someone with the level of dedication and professionalism as Paul King.

Paul inspected a house I had a contract on and because of his meticulous inspection, I ended up backing out of the deal and saving myself a great deal of aggravation. He then inspected a second house which he found to be in much better shape. And because Paul's inspection was so detailed, I ended up with a guide for keeping up with maintenance and a way to prioritize the issues any older home is going to have.

We are very happy with Paul's inspection!  We are contemplating selling our home and wanted an idea of what might need to be improved before listing.  He responded quickly and arrived on time.  He was very nice and polite.  Paul did a very thorough job and provided a well organized, detailed report.   We highly recommend him and would absolutely use him again, should the need arise.

Paul was on time. He did a very thorough inspection. We also had radon and termite testing. 
After the inspection he was very personable and friendly. He took time to talk to us and answer our questions.
His report was very detailed and informative. It contained  photos and in depth explanations of issues revealed in inspection.

My next door neighbor had a Radon removal system installed a year or so ago.  Made me think!  If he's got Radon, then maybe I do too.  A very smart real estate client of mine knew of Inspector Paul ad hired him for the home inspection on a 600k home (in which I represented him in the transaction).  After speaking with Paul at that inspection, I decided to hire him to do Radon testing at my home. Efficient, professional, and a joy to have in my home.  Pleased to say our Radon level was quite low, but the money was well spent. As a Realtor®, part of my job is to make clients aware of the potential harm that Radon gas can cause and give them the information and the option to have an inspection done.

Inspector Paul is a real pro.  He has done three home inspections for me and my family members.  In each case, he found many things that a less-knowledgeable inspector would likely have missed.  Paul has saved me many headaches and thousands of dollars on each purchase.  His reports are very detailed and thorough and the video's and photo's he provides makes it easy to see that what he is saying is true.  This makes negotiating with sellers for repairs very straightforward.  He has always been prompt for his inspections and timely with his reports.  I highly recommend Inspector Paul and would not consider buying a home without his input.   

I have a 58 page report containing everything from the crawl space to the roof and everything in between. We were especially pleased with a major defect in the new shower which was causing a leak.

Another great example of why I use Angie's List. The service was exactly as advertised. Professional, thorough and informative. Given a need I would definitely ask for Paul King's services again and suggest him to family and friends. Very good experience.

I cannot say enough about Paul.  My wife and I are very thankful for his work on our new house.  We had a nightmare of a time with the builder - lots of delays, lots of damage and replacements - a nightmare.  We needed an inspector who was on our side and who would hold the builder to account.  At the same time, we needed someone who could 'handle' us.  Someone who could point out what was acceptable (e.g. may not be ideal, but likely won't be a problem) so we could focus on the things that would be problems.  
Paul takes his time and goes thorough everything.  The full house inspection probably took 4 hours.  He inspected the trusses to the basement.  His reports were very detailed with pictures, descriptions and links to the relevant building or trade codes.  I know he was probably frustrating for the builder and their subs to deal with, but that actually speaks very highly for him.  In fact, after we had moved in, the head sales person for the development was apparently buying a new house and reached out to me for Paul's information to have him conduct her inspection.  That speaks volumes for him.
I would (and have) recommended him without reservation.
