Exotic Landscapes

I had some issues with them but we've worked it out. I'm very happy with them. They've taken care of my lawn for 3 years. I pay $40 for mowing. I pay $750 for complete shrubbery and tree cut back. They always do a good job.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience it's been, working with Exotic Landscaping. Rick and Melissa (the owners) are great people. Their attention to detail in their estimate and during our walk through consultation, was one of the reasons they were selected for the job. They weren't the least expensive of the four estimates we received, but we felt they were the most knowledgeable and had the best ideas that coincided with my "mental image" of what we wanted our to see in our yard. We were not disappointed - we definitely made the right choice. I got the initial impression Rick would be good to work with, and we found it was well worth it to have him on the job. From start to finish, Rick and his crew were fabulous. Along the way, we tweaked a couple of things, and Rick was always available to discuss the look, and to make changes we felt would enhance the overall end result. He had some great ideas as we proceeded, that also made sense to work into the original ideas, without changing the cost.
First the trees, old plantings, and dead grass were removed. The stumps were ground out, the driveway widened and sidewalk installed with foundation stone, gravel, and pavers. At the same time, the irrigation and drainage trenches were dug and pipes laid. Once this was done, the soil was tilled and amended. The foundation and new flower bed plantings were done, the sod was laid, and the irrigation system finalized. Once the sod had taken root, the stepping stones were added. It is truly an amazing transformation. The men working around our house worked so hard, and were so respectful of our home. The crew leaders spoke excellent English and were easy to communicate with throughout the process. Never once did they leave a mess of any type. They cleaned up every day, and even when the yard was only dirt, we never felt like things were chaotic. Once they started on our job, they worked all day, every day (except rain days) until it was complete. The whole process took about 3 weeks. The before and after pictures tell the story of the result - but you won't find the whole story there. Rick is such a hard worker, he really works closely with the homeowner to achieve the result you want. I would never use anyone else for my landscaping needs. Rick and his whole staff are the best crew I have ever seen for this type of project. Over the last 20 years, this is the 4th house I have had landscaped, so I have seen a few crews work. You won't be sorry if you hire Exotic Landscape.

They were prompt to respond and we liked their price. They did what they said they were going to do and kept the cost reasonable. The work was adequate. We would probably not use them again; we would use somebody that did better work.

They did very well.  They were very nice, polite, professional.

Lawn care: We are well satisfied with the quality of work. Our yard looks groomed and cared for. Pablo continues to advise us on the care and maintenance of our landscape, and we appreciate his advice. Irrigation: He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous; he helped us streamline our irrigation system to avoid water waste and to make watering as efficient and effective as possible. We paid big $$$ to Mike from Rainbird last year, and were never satisfied. Pablo helped fix his mistakes w/o ever bad-mouthing his competition. Pressure Washing: Our deck looked like new again. Pablo stays involved with his crew and checks on the quality of their work. He is quick to respond to our phone calls. Billing: Our only complaint is that billing is slow. We would like to settle our accounts much faster than he allows, but it seems his time is spent in working, not in paper chasing.
