I am severely disappointed with the service I received at Dat-A-Syst. I've been experiencing startup issues (blinking folder) with my 2017 MacBook Pro. Apple referred me to this company, and I brought my laptop in. I clearly stated what the issue was on the online check-in form and over the phone. After one day, I received a call stating that my computer was fixed and ready to be picked up. I go to the store and at pickup I asked what the issue was and the technician seemed confused and explained it as firmware issue and that they reinstalled the os. I asked them if the startup issue was fixed, and they tried to turn my computer on and low and behold here's the blinking folder with a question mark at startup. The issue that I clearly listed on the form! My computer was in fact not fixed. The solution the tech brought up was them mailing my laptop for repair and quoting it as $500-$600 repair (keep in mind this is 3 minutes after they told me my computer was fixed). I asked for my computer back and a refund of the $75 service charge. They declined to refund me as the technician "had spent time" on it. I'd argue that whatever time was spent was worth nothing as they didn't even bother checking to turn my computer on to see if the issue was still present. I don't believe this company performed the bare minimum in regards to fixing my laptop and will be issuing a charge back with my credit card company. Don't bother bringing your mac or anything else here. It will be a waste of time.

The Apple Store was booked two weeks out so I turned to Dat-A-Syst as an authorized Apple repair center to fix my MacBook. Computer required a new screen and a new keyboard. The keyboard turned out to be an Apple recall. The screen and keyboard was replaced and the computer returned in pristine condition. The repair took a few days longer than estimated due to keyboard part backorder. Even with the delay, the computer was repaired in a week. Communication along the way was excellent as I was given regular updates on the part backlog and timing. Price was very fair and the workmanship was outstanding. A+++ provider.

They did a fantastic job - very timely, efficient, and cost effective. It was done in less than 24 hours. I dropped it off at the location close to Carowinds and described the problem. They evaluated the age of the laptop and indicated it would be fine to repair it as long as there were no other issues with the computer. I did want to squeeze a little more life out of it so I elected to go ahead with the repair. The technician, Roy, called and left me a voice mail as soon as the laptop was repaired. It was charging and I could pick it up after 2pm. I picked it up at 4pm. It worked perfectly when I got it home; they even returned the old part.
This was a great experience with computer repair. I really appreciate the fast turnaround, the prompt communication, and the reasonable prices.

 I told them it was urgent because I was out of town the next week and need my computer.  They scanned the disk and did a diagnostic that took overnight.  In the end, they said they needed my Office disk to re-load Outlook (which I think they should have asked for upfront).  In the end, I ran out of time and had to take back my computer without the fix.  It just happened that two weeks later, Office has an automated update and it solved the problem.  I bought a new computer because of this, but did not ask them to transfer my files.

Quick and professional.  My computer was repaired in less than 24 hours.  I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

It went well. They solved the problem - it was running slow and would not update apps. The staff was very personable and professional. I made an appointment and at my appointment time I was served. My computer was ready the next day as promised and I have had no problem with it since then.

They were unable to retrieve the data due to my hard drive. I was satisfied with their professionalism and honesty.

It was a good, solid experience. They communicated well and let me know what the expectations were upfront. It’s fixed and it’s working nicely.

The experience was excellent - I dropped off the printer at their shop mid-day (had to return with the power cord since they didn't have one that fit) and was called mid-afternoon the following day telling me that the printer was ready for pick-up.  Price was reasonable and the service fine.

Upgrade performed upgrade on a same-day basis,  No problems experienced.

Work was performed on a same-day basis, on-time, without any problems.

I thought my laptop was out of warranty, they took my word for it. I gave them their fee for diagnosis. Then I got a call from them. They looked up my warranty with the mfgr, found it was still covered, did the repair and refunded my diagnosis fee.

It was awesome. The people were great - Everyone that I interacted with was extremely professional, knowledgable, courteous, and genuinely interested in doing a nice job and making the entire process painless. Special thanks to the technician that I interacted with most, Rafael, and he was wonderful and is a real asset to Dat-A-Syst. The work was 1st rate. About the work - it is important to point out that my computer and external hard drive are top-of-the line models from major manufacturers and what I was asking Dat-A-Syst to repair in both cases was extremely involved and complex. Dat-A-Syst knew exactly what to do and has very talented technicians who know everything about arguably the most cutting edge PC and external hard drive available today. The price - Dat-A-Syst charged me a very fair price and I am totally satisfied with the price. I actually think they undercharged me for the great work they did...Anyone considering or needing computer repair or assistance should go directly to Dat-A-Syst. An Awesome experience!

I take my computer to Dat-A-Syst Inc. whenever I need anything done to it. They are proper and thorough. They are honest. The most I had to wait for my computer was a week. They are very good at what they do. I have used them several times and I will continue to use their services in the future.
