Worked with Leslie and Andy on an estimate to recover our sofa, two pillows and an ottoman. They arranged to pickup the pieces and completed the work within two weeks. Everything came out beautifully and exactly what we wanted. They are the best!

The price was a little high but they did a excellent job. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Andy always responded promptly to my calls or texts.  had never had furniture recovered before. Andy explained  the process and gave several suggestions regarding places where I could buy material. After I bought the material, I contacted him. The furniture was picked up in a timely manner and delivered in a timely  manner, also. Andy called or texted When the truck was on the way. The young men who picked up and deilvered the furniture were polite and helpful. I would definitely use this company again.

I found Andy at Carolina Upholstery from a referral by S&M Body Shop in Pineville NC.  I called Andy, he could not have been nicer.  I felt very comfortable taking my twenty two year old car to him.  We discussed price, he estimated about $400.  The next week I took the car in for its new healiner.  Andy and his team were finished the next day.  When I picked up the car, the job was done and because Andy didn't have to repair the moon roof, the job only cost $ 200.00.  SCORE! The job was good and really was a bargain.
Next, the two wedge pillows for my boat.  Andy had the same material as the pillow I already had, so all I had to do was fill the pillow with bean bag beans.  Since I didn't have the beans, I had Andy put zippers in the new pillows.  I was amased when the pillows were ready, I was not expecting the exact same match, but that is pretty much what I got. I am so pleased.  Lyn, who made the pillows did a great job and in only one day, what a woman.  I was very impressed with her talent.
I am very impressed and pleased with Carolina Upholstery.   Andy is responsive and knows what he is doing.  I would use them again and recommend them highly.

They are the only upholstery shop in the area that has a decent turn around. They are excellent.

The quality of work is great and we're extremely satisfied with the work. Al Palmer did the refinishing of the chairs and Carolina Upholstery did the fabric works.  Turned out better than expected. Very happy with the work.

They did a fabulous job. I had to buy the upholstery material but their labor was around $500. They are one of the local providers and companies like them like to quote based upon the nature of the upholstery work they do. So the pricing of that is so subjective. They were recommended and I went by, they gave me a quote, they came back and they picked up the material and they had everything back within a week. I have done upholstery done before and I have never had that turn around and the finished product was absolutely gorgeous. When it comes to things like price, I don’t really care. Other people don’t mind but this is going to be in my living room so for me, the price is all relative to the finished product. If you do a lousy charge and charge me less, then it is absolutely not worth it, so it is very subjective. They were punctual, quick, and I have never seen anybody turn around a job so quickly and it was a professional group.

Andy Burkholder, the owner, was very responsive. The job was done quickly and came in at the anticipated price. Will use them again when I need replacement cushions or other upholstery work for the house. Be sure to bring your cushions (and slipcovers) so they can use them as template to cut the replacements.

Andy Burkholder is a very busy man , He recovered my arm rest to better than new condition awesome. he had it a long time and so he didn't charge me . I can tell he knows his stuff though .he does all kinds of upholstery work.
