Jeff promptly returned my call and provided me the advice on how to repair my problem.  He then offered to deliver the supplies needed to correct my issue to my home - at no charge to me!  I am amazed at how kind and helpful he was and will certainly highly recommend him to anyone in need of his products and services.  An outstanding customer service experience!

Chris is very professional: he returns calls right away and shows up on time for both the estimate and the installation. Brought samples (shutter size, wood finish, stains/colors) to the estimate appointment and was very through in his explanation of selection pros/cons and the ordering and installation process. He installed everything himself and left the areas cleaner than when he arrived. The shutters are gorgeous and affordable, especially figuring in the time it takes to install. We will call him again when it's time to replace the wood blinds on the remaining windows in our home.

This was a pleasant and relatively quick transaction. Chris is a pleasant individual to work with, and since he is his one and only employee, we had no misunderstands or concerns about what transpired throughout the process. The materials he had to order arrived within two weeks, as he had indicated, and he came to our house immediately to do the installment. He showed us how to work the shades, cleaned up all his remaining materials and encouraged us to call him with any problems or concerns. This was a good experience. I gladly recommend Chris to anyone needing exterior blinds/shades, and I would call him first should we need any window treatments in the future.

I first contacted Chris Blackwelder at a home show October, 2011. I liked the plantation shutters and invited him to give me an estimate. He was extremely accommodating and told me I could do one set of shutters or the whole house. He didn't pressure me in any way. I ordered 6 sets of shutters which were installed at the beginning of the December 2011. I absolutely loved the way they looked and functioned so ordered the remaining 6 window coverings (plantation shutters) and those were installed today, 11/9/12. Chris was at my home promptly and had the shutters installed in about 2-1/2 hours. His work is neat; he is a perfectionist. I particularly liked the fact that he didn't pressure me in any way relative to what I was buying. The shutters look FANTASTIC and I'm happy to recommend Blind and Shutter Depot for their excellent prices and service.

They had originally ballparked the estimate over the phone based on our measurements. When they came to the house and measured, the estimate was right on target. And what was great was the way they are priced, we were able to make optional choices at no extra charge. Since the shutters are all custom, it did take several weeks to get them delivered. In fact, he had to work around the Christmas tree and decorations to install them. But he was very tolerant and careful. The installation went quickly and the end result is unbelievable. They are very nice people to work with.
