We received 2 hours notice that they were coming to plant new plants in 3 bed areas. I was not home that day, but allowed them to come as they had done work here before and had done a good job. When I came home, 1 bed looked great, one was ripped to shreds with piles of dirt and debris and no shrubs, and one had plants filled in but was in desperate need of a lot of mulch. I left a message for Marcus and after a day, he said he would be out on Saturday to fix it. I was not home Saturday, but again allowed them to come because I thought he was going to make sure plants were re-planted in correct spots and mulch was filled in. I came home to find shrubs were taken out and randomly planted and big gaps left where shrubs were taken from. I talked to Marcus and told him they needed to come back out. He said they would be here in a couple of days to fix. He called within a few days and said they would he here w/in the week to fix. They never called or showed. I called again and he gave me excuse after excuse for why they had not been out. When I would not buy his excuses, he hung up on me and has not been back to fix anything. We wanted him to do a lot more work here, both landscape and hardscape, but have found someone else to do the work. And I will have to pay this new person to fix what he started. Be very careful if you hire, he does not deliver what he promises and when there is a problem he does not come out to address personally.

We are very displeased. We think it was the biggest waste of money we have ever spent! The only thing that we like is the retaining wall. First, we never received the seating wall that was originally planned for when he came out to give us a rough estimate. Then, the crew cracked some pavers when installing them. Marcus had them replaced; but, did not match the sand/grout mixture to the original mixture. When we told him it looked gray instead of brown, he told us that it would blend over time. About a year later, it never blended...it actually discolored the pavers that were replaced! The fire pit was set off-center from the adjoining patio...instead of fixing it, Marcus did deduct $900 from our original price of $10,900. Some of our plants died as well...but Marcus never returned my husband's phone calls.

I asked Marcus if he could take care of my yard on a bi-yearly basis for maintenance. He said he could do that. The yard was beautiful, and I told all my friends about them. I paid for the job done, then the problems began. I have a 6 month warranty on all plants, and a 1 year warranty on the workmanship. After a couple months, I called Marcus to let him know that some plants were not thriving well, and one had died. I wanted him to replace a plant, and move some others to different locations. I have now left over 10 messages on his cell phone, and office, and he has not returned a single call. The 6 month warranty is coming up soon, and I still have not heard from him. The owner, Marcus Rupert, is the only one I've dealt with. He won't return any of my phone calls. The pump does not work properly, and I'd like him to come back and repair it. My initial experience with him was good, but now I cannot get any reply. I will have to go to someone new and probably have the whole thing redone.

Marcus always showed up on time and when he said he would show up. He did an excellent job on the walk from start to finish. He and his crew were very neat and did not dig up the rest of the yard and front beds. When he was finished, he laid sod around the walk and added more mulch where it was needed. When he left, you could not tell the project had just been finished. I highly recommend this company.
