First, let me just say that getting an electrician - for a small residential job in the Charlotte area - is difficult. I called six electricians to get estimates for the job I needed completed. One called me back almost immediately but then managed to cancel and rebook three appointments - just to give me a quote - before I finally said, "no, thanks anyway". Another came out and offered a quote but when I asked to have it revised to include the can lights...I never heard from them again. Three others simply never called me back. I was beginning to think I'd have to revise my remodeling plans when a friend of a friend suggested Artisan Electric. They came out within a day to give me a quote and came back in two weeks to do the job. During the job, they offered some ideas about how where to install the can lights to make them more effective and did an excellent job. I even got a follow up text to ask how everything was. I don't know what happened to the few folks who gave them bad reviews but I am a solid fan of Artisan and will definitely call them when I need any other electrical work in the future.
