This was the 2nd time we used Tommy, and like last year, we were glad we did. He (1) replaced the large rotting wooden upper porch fencing with a very quality one that he made himself, (2) repaired rotting woodwork in the lower porch, (3) made a sturdy wooden handrail along an outdoor stairway, (4) put a mailbox post and box along the curb, and (5) did a terrific job of cutting and attaching quality lattice around the whole house, in order to prevent large animals from getting into the crawlspace and harming AC insulation. Tommy wrote up a contract before starting , did not stray from the very reasonable estimates, and was very punctual and reliable. Like last year, he stays busy, works throughout the day, and does not work several jobs for several people at the same time (he gives you his undivided attention). Tommy does a quality job and obviously takes much pride in his work (well deserved). We'll ask him to do more work for us this Fall.

After Tommy and Hank did a fine job of replacing a lot of old rotting boards the previous month, they agreed to paint the exterior with 2 coats. The job included a full day of pressure washing, as well as another paint color for a lot of trim and awnings. They arrived early every morning and worked until around 5:00 pm most days. Apart from a lunch break, they never stopped working. They were both very friendly and very task-oriented. They took a lot of care and pride in their work, to the point of not cutting corners (which could easily be seen in the tremendous amount of caulking that they did). Every day, they left the property nice and clean. During both the carpentry and paint jobs, they gave us their undivided attention. This was much appreciated, since we have often had to deal with the frustration resulting from people having several jobs going at the same time. Obviously, we were very pleased with their services and will call again in the future.
