When I called Mike for an estimate, he came the next day, looked over the area and gave me a quote while he was here. He also said that if I would get wheat straw and grass seed, they would go ahead and spread those for me after they finished grading. He said it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to my yard due to other jobs he had going on, which was fine. During that time, he stayed in contact with me and got to it when he said he would. I had a bad car accident several days prior to his coming to work on my yard. When he got here, I explained that I wasn't able to get the seed and straw because of the accident and the injuries sustained and I would have to take care of that myself at a later time. He got his guys started and left. A little while later he came back with the wheat straw and grass seed on his truck. He picked them up for me because of the accident so that I wouldn't have to worry about handling that later. He proved to me that there is some human kindness left in the world. They tilled up the problem areas, smoothed out the dirt, and then spread the grass seed and wheat straw. He and his guys got the job finished just like I wanted it and they were all very professional. It feels wonderful to be able to walk in my yard again without fear of either me or my dogs blowing knees due to stepping in holes. I will be calling on him again when I need work done and I will be referring him. Mike Steger is a great man and makes sure that the job is done right!

It worked out fabulous. They came on time and they worked as hard as they promised they would work and the cleanup was good. I will highly recommend this provider.

It was okay. It went well. They did a pretty good job. At that time, I thought it was a bad price but I can't remember the price. I would say they were very professional. I think I will use them again, I'd give them a 50/50 chance because they're so far away.

Excellent quality work, reasonably priced, very responsive to extra items I need done outside of weekly lawncare (IE fertilizing, mulching, cleaning gutters)..

Awesome Service & Price! I called Steger's Lawn Service late Thursday afternoon (4/23/15), spoke to owner Michael Steger regarding bush hogging my vacant lot and an hour later he had Dewayne come inspect my lot to price. Within 15 minutes after Dewayne left, Michael called to advise price and I said, yes do it. We discussed doing the job by early next week, however Dewayne came late afternoon Friday and bush hogged my lot! Very, Very Satisfied - Outstanding Price, Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism!

The whole crew showed up on time, very professional, courteous, did a great job, and because they have a great crew...were done in a timely manner. This was my second time using them. When I scheduled the initial job with Mike (the owner), his crew showed up exactly as promised, and Mike called to lmk when they were on the way, called to make sure they were here and that I was happy with their services! I truly appreciate this kind of communication and excellent service! A true professional! Thank you Mike and crew!

It was a family friend, but he did a good job. I sold a house and actually moved out of Florence, so he was doing the yard work for me while the house was on the market. It was basic service of just cutting the grass. Stegers Lawn Service came every two weeks and I thought the price was fair.
