Spring Valley Heating And Air

Purchased a new construction home and these guys installed the duct work totally work. Third floor comes on with the first floor, 2nd floor with 3rd and now don’t want to stand behind the work. What a waste. I should have Installed the duct work myself, and did it wrong. Of course the home builders don’t check the work! ??‍♂️

I had a couple of HVAC companies come to service my heat and air unit and let me tell you, they were trash! Started with one problem and ended up with three! Each one said the problem was something different than the what the previous technician said. I finally got fed up and called Spring Valley Heat and Air. Let me tell you, THIS IS A COMPANY YOU CAN RELY ON! They stood by their word and made sure they fixed EVERYTHING, including what the technicians from other companies screwed up! Richard and his crew handled my situation professionally and with integrity! He wouldn’t even accept my money until they were SURE that everything was taken care of! I appreciate their services and I highly recommend them!

On time, within budget

We have used them for three years now. It worked out very good and they do what they say and they are very helpful. They are also professional and courteous.

I thought the maintenance price as getting too much. They were very come, they would come, one night they came at like 8pm and did not charge me extra hours charge. I always hold them in high regards.

Service was prompt and courteous. I was told it would take 2 to 4 hours to do job when I was quoted price. Took only 30 minutes to replace part. I had used them for service for about 30 years. Left 2 messages for owners to call me so I could ask them to consider a price break. They never returned my calls. I did not shop around since we have a child and had no heat. I felt I was overcharged and will not use them again.

I just love the technician that comes here he is a sweetheart.

We just moved here and weren't familiar with the heating system. We were surprised by a sudden storm with low temperatures that should have caused the heat to kick in. It didn't. I called Spring Valley this morning and the lovely dispatcher sent a technician over within a couple of hours. He found and fixed the problem, then checked the system over to be sure there weren't any further problems and while we waited for the heat to come up, he showed me how to use my gas fireplace (no charge) I will continue to use Spring Valley as long as they have people like Jason working for them. HIGHLY recommended for good reason.

I have used this company for years. They can be expensive, but they will come out promptly and fix the problem. They are superior to any of the other providers in the Columbia area.

They're doing a good job because we're going on 13 years on that.

Our house was built in 2006.  The a/c unit ( installed by Spring Valley)  was not working properly 2 months after we moved in.
Spring Valley came out and re- installed some duct work that had been installed improperly.  Two years later they added
Freon and said there was a leak.  Two years after that, we had a drip from the ceiling where the drip pan was not properly
installed.  They came out and fixed that, but today we had another drip, except this time much worse and damage to the ceiling.
Now the guy tells us we have a coil that is bad and has to be replaced.  Today and the future new coil cost us more than
2,000.00.  I guess I just thought that a brand new system should last longer than 7 years. Guess I was wrong.
In their defense, they did get someone out here very quickly.  The fellow was very nice and professional.
But I don't think this equipment is very reliable at all.  Seven years and i'm already spending 2,000.00 on maintenance??
That seems wrong to me.

I called on a Saturday and the technician was able to come Monday morning. He quickly identified the condenser as being the cause of my AC failure.  This visit was actually supposed to be just a 2nd opinion to another company who was trying to tell me I needed to replace my entire 8 year old system.

Jamie and his partner were on time, professional and courteous.  The work was done in a timely manner and they removed all debris and cleaned up upon completion.

Matt arrived  at the appointed time.  He checked out the heating unit and informed us that we will need a new blower motor.  He will have to order one.  I gave him the go ahead to order a blower motor.  A few minutes after he left, I received a phone call from the office that they could put a blower motor in the next day.  He arrived early the next day with the motor. It did not take  him long to install it. I was very pleased with the work done.

They were prompt, courteous, and professional.  They were finished within the hour.  They explained about the gas cut-off, and assured me that the water heater was not leaking gas.  When they left everything was neat and clean.  I really appreciated their promptness and professionalism.

I have an annual "Residential Maintenance Agreement" with Spring Valley.  The agreement costs what seems to me a lot, but they check the systems (two)  twice a year and they say they will come quickly if I need service.  Our air conditioner stopped working, and I called on a Saturday evening at the hottest time of the year in South Carolina, July 14, and they had somebody on duty who answered the phone and then came out early Sunday morning and put in the freon and got us working again.  The visit was not cheap, but hey, they came within 24 hours, on a weekend, in peak season.
I have had a residential maintenance agreement with a different company in the past, which did not work out so satisfactorily.  I expect to stay with Spring Valley.

Came out within 1/2 hour of call, had the AC running again within 15 minutes. They originally installed our heat pump unit and we've only had great customer service experiences with them.

They do really good work. The man who came to do the six month service did a great job. The price is comparable.
