It was a very difficult process but I really like the way Marie handled the problem.  She recommended improvements we could make that would make the condo more valuable , which we did.  The problem was that the condo was so small that only a young couple would want to buy it as a residence, but the new mortgage loan laws put in place after the recession required new buyers of condominiums to put down a 25% down payment in order to qualify for a loan.  Anyway it took over a year and a half to find the right buyers who could get a loan, but we finally did and sold the condo on Nov. 9th, 2012.   What I really appreciated about Marie was that we had 3 couples interested in buying my condo , but the first two couldn't qualify for mortgages.  We kept lowering the price little by little and still we had not many buyers.  Marie kept telling me not to get discouraged and that she would sell my condo, and she finally did. She never seemed to feel like this condo was too small for her to worry about or that I was not an important client of hers.
