This USED to be a good plumbing service when the father and brother Chance used to run it! Martin Evan Williams, the younger son, is not to be trusted! I hired him to reinstall my water softening tanks. I paid half up front as he requested. He came back with a sad story requesting more money to help him out with crisis situation with another customer. I sadly helped him! After missed several appointments, had many excuses and "family emergencies" he essentially never showed up to do the job. I filed a small claims against him. Sherriff tried two different addresses. The "4688 Blade Run Rd Edgemoor, SC "address used here and on his invoice is bogus, an old abandoned building. The second address is from his public court records where he was charged with assault. But that address is a long driveway with a gate at the road, so he couldn't be properly served with court summons. So I'm out nearly $600 dollars! I would not recommend this plumber!

They said they would be by on Tuesday between 2 and 3 pm he finally showed up after five this is only I repeatedly calling , he says it was the tank and would cost $ 950 my son gave a deposit of $ 550 . Said they would be back on Wednesday , never showed up , I called repeatedly finally got a hold of them . There excuse tooth broke had to see dentist . Said they would be by Thursday no call no show . I kept calling again , they finally answered and said they had to get tooth pulled .By this time my patience has worn very thin . I gave him one last chance , he said he would be by at 10 am to do the job . He didn't show up until 5 pm , he did the job said he needed to replace some fitting an extra $ 100 by this time I just wanted him done and gone , we paid I even mention that I waited 4 days still no discount . They were totally unreliable . I would never recommend them .

On Saturday April the 6th I discovered a busted pipe and had to cut my water off. I called Williams and Son that was on Home Advisors and asked them if they could come out. They showed up right after I texted them that it was getting late and probably too dark to repair that time of night. They fixed the first pipe and when they turned the water on discovered there were two additional leaks. They wanted $25 more dollars to fix the two additional leaks bringing the total to $275. He said he stands behind his work and would guarantee his work for two years. He said wait 30 minutes and turn back on. On Sunday morning we turned the water on to discover the two leaks were still leaking. I texted them letting them know the two leaks were not fixed and we still did not have water and didn't get a response. I called them Monday evening asking them when would they be back. He stated he was very busy and would try to get back Thursday and also said it is probably two different leaks instead of the leaks they fixed. I texted him on the 10th and stated I had paid him $275 and still did not have water and how would he feel if this was his family? He said he was coming at lunch time on Thursday at lunch time. They finally showed up at 7:30 at night and stated these were not the leaks they had fixed. I pointed to the new part they put on that was still leaking. I also said I just paid them for that, (the new part)so how could it be a different leak? He said he wasn't arguing with me and do what I had to do because he wasn't fixing and got in his truck and left. If they take your money and don't fix your problem and you have to beg them to come back out and they still lie and will not fix the issue, that tells you what type person you are dealing with. Will never hire again.

Mr Williams really knew what he was doing. That's what you get when someone has been doing plumbing for 26 years. I bought a disposal from Amazon and contracted him to do the installation. Unfortunately the manufacturer included a wrong part that did not fit and after the installation was done the disposal leaked. Mr Williams went to Lowes, got the right part and fixed what should have been done at the factory. Mr Williams spent a lot of extra time doing the job right so we would have a kitchen sink, dishwasher etc. Would definitely hire again.

Martin returned my call in a reasonable time and agreed to provide cost estimate and prepared to stay and complete the jobs at a scheduled time. The crew arrived with some slight delay due to their packed schedule but he kept me updated. They are hard-working people with a lot of jobs/requests. The estimate he provided was reasonable and they immediately started the work after we agreed with the jobs and scope. They were honest and told me that I didn’t need to put in a main shutoff gate valve because we already have one. (This is my parents’ house and I couldn't find the main shutoff under the crawl space.) They were pleasant, courteous, efficient, and thorough. They cleaned the work areas and left no debris behind. I am very pleased with their work. I highly recommend Martin and his crew. I will use them again for the next plumbing job.

They responded by phone as to the feasibility of making all of these repairs/changes. They agreed to come to provide the estimate and be prepared to stay and implement the jobs. They were highly creative and intuitive -- based on long history of experience and native ability. The estimate was reasonable. They immediately fetched parts and started the work. Their work was thorough and competent. They immediately followed up on every question or adjustment that I requested. They were pleasant, courteous, efficient, and thorough. They provided responsible follow-up and stuck to their estimate. They cleaned the work areas and left no debris behind. They kept me informed as to their scheduled arrival. I recommend them highly.

Mr Williams and two workers came this morning at 10:00 and worked until 6:00 pm.  Very professional, got right to work and cleaned up after.  The best part was Mr Marty Williams knowing that we are seniors and was at the end of our budget for this huge undertaken, didn't charge us for the installation on the guts for the toilets, the new valve, and one copper pipe under the house.

Very quick and punctual. Martin knows his stuff and fixed the connections and pipe within an hour. Showed me exactly what the problem was and recommended future repairs based on the pipe corrosion. Thanks!

They came out on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend.  They did a very good job and were very professional.  The leak from the water heater was coming into my closet.  They cut a hole in the sheet rock, located the leak and replaced the pipe.  They were here for about 40 minutes and were done very quickly.  It works very well.  My only complaint is that they charged me double to come out on a holiday weekend.  The work needed to be done, though, and I am overall very satisfied with the work.
