Ronnie inspected our job and got back to us several days later with a quote. He got to work in August and we expected a 60 day timeframe. We gave him money throughout the project for ordering fixtures, heating unit, etc but these things didn't appear for MONTHS. As Thanksgiving approached and not much was done, we started asking for updates. Always he was sick, or his crew got held up elsewhere, or he was waiting on a delivery. Showed up on at our project just 7 times during the entire month, and in most of those cases, was only around for an hour or so. Thanksgiving came and went. No progress. We put our family member's visit off until Christmas. Christmas approached and still little progress. Finally Ronnie and his crew (really just Ronnie and his brother Ricky and one other guy) suddenly tried to squeeze everything left into just a few days. They finally got the project "finished" on December 23rd, leaving us less than a day to fully furnish the space prior to family's much delayed arrival on the 24th. Completely disrespected us and our timeframe. On December 23rd, he left us a final bill that put the cost of the project over $4,000.00 over budget. When we asked for an itemization, he just gave us another rough handwritten estimate. When we didn't pay him on the spot, and asked for time to review everything, he sent his brother Ricky over to our house and threatened us. Ronnie then started texting us, blaming us for "ruining Christmas" for his and Ricky's families. We wrote him a final settlement check for a solid portion of what he was demanding the very next day (Christmas eve), even though we didn't agree with the bill and were never shown the requested documentation, in hopes of stopping the harassment and putting the whole bad experience to bed. He immediately cashed the check, but still the harassment continues. Now he is threatening to contact OUR businesses clients unless we pay as he demanded. The kicker? Two things: 1. We found out his builders license is suspended. 2. The local code officer came out and inspected (at our request). Guess what? Multiple building code violations.
Description of Work: We hired Ronnie to finish our basement with an inlaw suite.

Ronnie did a very good job. He brought his crew and worked very quickly. Ronnie and his crew were very nice and professional while they were working on my home. I would recommend Ronnie to anyone!
Description of Work: Ronnie built in a screened in porch, and made a very nice room out of it. The room already had a foundation, and Ronnie built on top of it and put in 4-5 electrical outlets and heat ducts into the room.
