"Hello Michael. Sorry for the delay in response. As mentioned during our on-site visit on Monday (11/17/25): * The asphalt is plenty thick throughout the driveway. It was never mentioned that Asphalt would be 4 inches and settled to 3 to 3 1/2 inches. As a professional paving contractor I never do 4 inch installs because it would fail over time, if not installed in 2 lifts. It is even stated in our contract that we will machine install an average thickness of 3 inches of asphalt. (1/3)"
