David Melton and Jason Melton. We have learned that they do work under another name, were given our home when we closed. They had six weeks. For the first two weeks little was done. Then they removed carpet as requested and started painting and doing electrical. However they painted latex paint over oil base paint, so the paint did not stick or chipped easily. They blamed a sub even though they bought the paint. Then they brought a teenage son and his friend to repair the error, by painting more oil base. They did not sand or prep and we had more problems. Wrong colors were applied to cabinets and custom cabinets were promised but never delivered. As we got close to our move in date we complained and we were assured all would be completed. We offered to move our move in date back and were told they would make the deadline. On move in day closet doors were not painted, kitchen tile floor was tiled but not grouted, kitchen cabinet doors were missing, floor vents were missing, electrical lights were inoperative, we had oil paint all over our front bushes and sidewalk and on brand new hard wood floors and carpet. Their excuse; they ran out of time. They said their reputation was important and wanted to do what was right, then never came back, and did not return texts or calls.
