Overall painting was ok, had to call and get them to come back because so many areas were uneven. Late 3/4 times schedule to come, including consultation. Booked because very thorough outline of contract, too bad didn't follow through. Scuffed an appliance, but it's my fault. Would not recommend or use again personally. Also, communication with owner takes 4-6 days for a reply; unprofessional.

They did great. They were here for two days and other than my walls changing a different color, you would never have known they were here. They cleaned up very well and did an excellent job.

They are quick. They are very responsive when you call. They give you a written estimate with everything and a warranty.

We were quoted two weeks for the work.  The work began in late September of 2010.  There were only 2 people to do the work, so they didn't finish the main part of the job until 4 weeks later, about the end of October.  They had to go to another job at that point so we were told they would come back in a couple of weeks to finish up and do the touch ups on some walls & cabinets.  Greg finally came  back in January 2011 to do the touch ups, but the job never got finished since the employee scheduled to help that day was a no show.  Greg spent a lot of time trying to get in touch with his employee by phone so I think that played a part in why the job didn't get finished.  The last day was supposed to be about 4 hours of work with 2 guys working, but Greg left earlier than expected that day and told me when he left that the attic door needed a second coat & he would be in touch to do that.  We've never heard from him. 

The whole process took way too long and we are not happy with the job for the following reasons:  (1) the attic door never got a second coat.  (2) the cabinets were changed from cream to white - you can see the cream color through the white paint especially in the kitchen - the cabinets should have received a second coat of paint. (3) they were supposed to repair a hairline crack in one of the bedroom walls but they just painted over it; the crack is showing again. (4) the popcorn ceiling in our garage completely peeled off & fell down in large sheets last summer; we had to hire someone else to come out to fix it; we were told by the new painter that it happened because indoor, water based paint had been used on the ceiling.  Outdoor paint should have been used due to the humidity in the garage apparently. 

We spent a lot of money to have the house painted and we are very disappointed that it's never been finished like it should have been.  Plus, we've had to pay additional money since then to get repairs done to the ceiling in the garage. 

We won't be using Green Pro again.

My overall experience with Green Pro Inc (painting) was excellent!  The service was great, on time and completed at the quoted price.  They also suggested some additional service by painting the gutters and hand rails that made the appearance of the house even better.  I would strongly recommend them to anybody looking to have their house painted - inside or outside.

same page as far as the colors select and the scope of work to be done.
We hired them to paint the exterior of business in large part to past
dealings with them - they renovated our house and did an excellent job
there as well. They showed up when they said they would and finished the
exterior work in a day. They also painted the interior of the business
and treated out floors earlier in the year.
I would recommend Greg and his team to anyone seeking a professional painter. I have been
happy with the quality of his work and will continue to use him in the
future whenever I need any major painting work done.

They did a great job.  They came in, they got their painting done.  They were professional.  I would tell Angie’s List members to hire them.  I would use them in the future.

Did a great job, great communication.  Came in, got it all done in one day (I thought is was a big job) and when he cleaned out his tools he found that our hose was broken so he fixed it.

I contacted Green Pro the last week of September and they came out the the next week when I had a few days off.  Greg came to the house, explained the differences between the various paints and measured the house.  Later that day he emailed me a very detailed estimate.  I thought it was a very reasonable price and told him I would like to hire him.  They came out and washed the house on Oct 25, then on Oct 27 they came back out and did some prep work like sand and removed the shutters and storm windows and began painting on Oct 26.  They finished painting on Nov.1 and it looked great!.   I work during the day and when I came home everything was picked up, there wasn't any  trash in the yard or any tools lying around.  Greg kept me updated just about eveyday with what they were going to do to my house.  I plan on hiring them back to paint my kitchen in the spring.

I originally submitted a report after the work was completed.  I received several calls from the contractor which honestly, I found annoying, so I removed the original post.  My thoughts in this case were to use my option of going with a different company to complete the job to my satisfaction, should I be inclined.  I felt like the right thing was not done in the first place and that is the end of it.  I would be going against the original concept of Angie's List, if I did not post my opinion.  I saved the original post and it went as follows, with a couple changes.
     The company started and finished in 4 days.  Overall the work was okay.  I had some exposed (through the lattice) support posts under the deck that did not get painted and I was a bit unhappy about that, but I opted to not have it done as opposed to removing the lattice and possibly breaking it, as they told me.  However, I do feel that it probably should have been done to have truly completed the deck painting, as support posts are part of the deck.  Greg and Scott were very personable.  One helper on the job was average and I had found areas that he painted, not to my satisfaction, and they were promptly fixed, but I have subsequently found a couple minor areas not to my satisfaction, which I will address later with my son.  I also did not get the 5% off for mentioning Angie's List, which they were aware of and to date, have not received a check.  (today is 10-31-11)  Adding on here...I would have appreciated more interaction with the business owner.  I only saw him at the beginning of the job for the estimate and the very end of the job where a more thorough inspection of the job would have been nice.  Inspection should not have been left to me as I am not the professional.  So, with all that being said, I would not use Green Pro again.  ***   Update: Nov. 9, 2012....It has been just one year since this company did the exterior trim and deck painting.  I have changed the grade for quality to F.  The paint on my deck is now chipping off and all along the railings is covered in mildew.  This mildew problem was NOT present with my old paint color, which had been present for quite some time.  It is extremely disheartening to see this all occur after one year.  I am not rich and the amount of money I spent for this job was hard earned by myself and I am pretty upset about the entire experience.   I would never use them again, never recommend them to anyone and discourage anyone who is even considering this company.

GreenPro was punctual on their first meeting for the estimate. They understood what needed to be done and went about their business in a very professional manner. Their reputation keeps them in demand. When they finished the job, except for the great paint job, you would not have know they had been there. They cleaned up completely. We recommend them and would hire them again for our next job.
