"Thank you for the review Terry, it was our pleasure to serve."
"Thank you for your positive feedback, Cathy! We are thrilled to hear that you are happy with your concrete coating. If you need assistance in the future, feel free to reach out to us."
"Hi Tim, thank you for your review. We completed your deck on October 6th after addressing your concerns which were valid. In the end I am glad we reached a successful conclusion."
"Thank you for your review. But I do want to make sure you are reviewing the right company. We heard nothing of the issues you now publicly post. Specifically, no mention of not taping off (which we do). Nor any mention to us of allegedly making your garage unlevel? This is impossible by the way, as the coating is applied at 10mil thickness. If it were thicker, the product would milk over. In other words, there is no way enough liquid could be applied to make your floor unlevel without that floor looking horrible. And since you remarked to Scott that it looks great in your conversation last night, we know that is not the case. We do apologize"
"Thank you for your review and for being a client. Unfortunately, we just underwent a change in material handlers, hence the delay in debris removal. My apologies and I am glad you are pleased with your project. Take Care."
"I intentionally waited before responding to this so I would choose my words carefully, and as respectfully as possible. Put simply, you are not being truthful. Everything I am saying here is backed up with phone records, emails, and your own words, which I will be glad to share with any interested party. The truth is you bounced a check for final payment, and when I called you to find out why you had stopped payment you could not believe I would do such a thing. You said the reason you stopped payment was because we never called you back when you called for service. You called us on March 8th 2022, and we were at your house correcting the issue on March 9th 2022. When you called in on the 8th, your project manager (Justin) was out with a family emergency, and we still were out to address your issue the next day. After we showed up you informed Justin that you had stopped payment on the check because you "didn't know if you'd ever see us again. You then stated to me that you had "volunteered" to pay once the crew was done. This is inaccurate; you were contractually obligated, we should not have to ask you as this is money you owed. You then launched into a tirade about how Scott, our Vice President of Sales, promised you a drawing of the deck layout and that you never received it, and that he told you we use Amish wood. After which, you hung up on me. Of course, I addressed this with Scott and was shocked when he sent the email that was sent to you on January 27th with the drawing you said he never gave you. This told me all I needed to know as to who was telling the truth. Next, is the issue of "Amish" wood. There is no such thing! The Amish are recognized as expert craftsmen of wood products no doubt. However, they use the same wood as anybody else i.e. pine, cherry, oak, etc. A man with 20+ years in this business knows this, and would never suggest something so silly. We take care of our customers, and I am always looking to improve and coach, but in this case, there is nothing I can address, your words "I have a great deck today". You had an issue with part of the deck, and we responded the next day. Who can I possibly hold accountable? There is only one thing I could have done, and that does not ask you to pay, which places you in a subset of customers who use the threat of negative reviews for monetary gain. We will not participate with any customer on these terms. Until section 230 of the 1996 communications act is repealed, legitimate, reputable businesses will have to deal with false-negative reviews as platforms like HomeAdvisor, Google, etc. will not lift a finger to check a word of what a consumer says as they are immune from liability. This harms consumers as well, many do not bother to even read the reviews or discern the truth. Nevertheless, I am glad you have a great deck today."
