Billy Barrett Structural Service

I have trouble opening and closing the windows he put in. He didn't install them properly. Of course, he said he was right and I was wrong. I told him to pack up his stuff and get out. We didn't get along.

We had used him before and were very satisfied but unfortunately, not this time.  He had a tiler that messed up pretty badly.  The only part we were unhappy with was the tile work in the shower.  It was not satisfactory at all and wouldn't drain properly.  There was no followup or attempt to repair it.  We ended up hiring someone else to fix the problem.  I will not use him again.

I actually got a little bit more than what I paid for.  He is honest and a very good man.  He follows through on any issues.  He worked with several crew.  The crew that worked on my house did not do a very good job.  I had to have them come back and correct several things, and they did do it.  I am happy with them overall.  I don't know if I would use Billy Barrett Structural Service again or not.  There were issues with building permit and with the initial job as we had understood it to be a re-roofing.  They had started to do a complete tear down.  They initially just started to put new shingles over the old ones.  I had to call the building inspector.  Once we had it ironed out things were not too bad.  I did have to call them back to take care of some of the shingles because it wasn't done properly.  Overall I got a very, very good deal.  I paid a very good price, but I had to watch his crew like a hawk.
