Pool Leak Solutions

I contacted Pool Leak Solutions and Kevin Brown and his associate arrived bright
and early on the date he said he would be coming. They were very efficient and
well equipped to do their leak search. The first step was to pressure test the
lines. Kevin donned his diving suit and scuba gear to uncover and plug the dual drains
and to remove the light from its enclosure while his helper plugged the other lines and set
up the air pressure test. The skimmer line and return line checked out but the drain line would not
hold pressure. The next step was to use a device that would pick up the sound
of the escaping air from the leaking line. In short order the leak was
discovered at the side of the pool behind the wall where the drain line makes a
forty five degree angle to come up to the surface. No way to fix the line
without draining the pool and removing the liner so the drains were plugged. Another
device using an electrical sensor that could locate water leaks in the liner
was used to scan the liner and the areas around all fixtures to insure there
were no other leaks in the pool.

Although Chance was late, he called a half hour before the scheduled time to let us know he would be late, and then called again on his way to our house. Watching him work, it was clear that his detailed process might encounter more than the homeowner had prepared him for, and I can understand why he was late even if I didn't like it.
He was exceptionally thorough and efficient, using a high-tech gadget to sense where water was leaving the pool, as well as pressuring all the pipes and ensuring that the pool light housing wasn't leaking. He repaired a few holes in the liner, explained what he had done, and left.
Altogether, Chance was thoroughly professional, efficient and effective. Very pleased with the service.
