Roofers showed up on the promised date and began work. I was asked if it was OK to drive on grass, where they could park trucks etc, giving me control to protect my property. Plants were covers to protect them and caution taken to protect other parts of the house like porch railings and some windows. They worked steadily from arrival to departure and constantly reported what was going on. Everyday they left, yard and driveway swept for nails and other roofing waste. I always knew that they were leaving and when they would return the next day. On the final day, they cleaned a few marks on siding and some chalk marks on roof line. Before they stopped cleaning, they asked me to inspect to be sure I was satisfied. One final touch, was painting vent pipe black so they did not stick out against blue roofing. A nice touch.
