S & G Construction

Got wind of multiple contractors from Angie's list when we needed to do something about our well worn 17 year old pool deck. Stanley Creel from S&G Construction was the first to contact me to provide an estimate. He was very thorough about inspecting the deck and told us that "if it were his" he would keep the existing frame and just replace the decking, rails, and stairs. He also noted where additional supports were needed. We then asked each future contractor about using the existing frame in addition to outright replacement. We decided to use the existing frame and after several estimates, S&G was low bidder so we contracted with them to complete the work. They were very professional throughout the job. They stripped the deck down to the frame and added several supports in addition to replacing a damaged band board. All debris was hauled away promptly. The new decking and railing are excellent and we could not be happier about this effort. S&G did everything they said they would do and then some for what we thought was a fair price. If you are thinking about any decking or related type work, then I highly recommend this contractor.
