Fry's Computer Guys

It took a long time because the lightning damage was severe and it required numerous new parts to fix the computer -- they had to buy a new computer and change out parts - and had to wait for it to arrive.  They kept me informed, obtained my permission to proceed this way AND THEY HONORED THEIR INITIAL COST ESTIMATE because it took so long even though they had more cost involved and more work hours involved to repair my computer.  Had I been willing to just have them recover the files for me, it would have been a quick process, but I insisted on trying to fix it.  They were also able to recover files from the other - very old, very dusty -- unusable computer that I brought in.  Mr. Fry and his staff treated me very well and Mr. Fry even gave me his cell phone number so I could easily request updates.  Although it took much longer than I at first thought, it was not their fault regarding the time it took; however, I did only give them a B for length of time - My fault though because I had insisted on their fixing my computer if it could be done.  When I learned how badly the lightning had damaged it, I wasn't sure they'd be able to fix it -- I doubt many places would have even tried to repair but would have just told me to get the files recovered.  BUT FRY'S COMPUTER GUYS WERE ABLE TO FIX IT!  They were so friendly and knowledgeable, very nice people as well as great technical people.  THEREFORE, I GIVE THEM AN A+!

After I purchased the part for my computer it did not work. We went back and told them that it did not work. They told us that we probably broke the computer. They would not fix the computer or give me my money back. And they told me that If I kept calling that they would call the authorities.

The whole experience was excellent!! I told the whole story above. love love, them!!!!!

Fry's did a thorough job on my PC and it was complete the next day after i dropped it off.
