This company started out great with a great price. They charged by the day. Big mistake!! They worked hard for 3 days. Promised to be done in 4 days. By the end of the third day I knew I was in trouble. Their stump grinding machine broke down and they charged me for the full day. The owner asked for payment in full because it was the Friday and he wanted to cash the check before the weekend. So my husband gave it to him before the work was finished. Needless to say we have been left with 40+ stumps that have been left behind and not ground down. The owner said they would be back to finish and they never came. After numerous calls trying to get a time and date when they would be back I got an earful from the owner who is supposed to be a professional. This man turned the conversation ugly, called me names, cursed, and said horrible things to me. I didn't do anything to deserve to be spoke to like this. I was polite because I knew I was in a no-win situation because my husband already had paid in full. When I said that I don't feel like I should be charged for th 4th day because they didn't do any work this man went ballistic. I have never been spoke to like that by anyone, especially a "professional man.". I have been made to feel scared and unsafe all because this man does not want to finish the job that we paid him for. I urge anyone looking into these services to go with a different company.

They worked as a team and cleaned the entire area. They were polite and very pleasant to be around. I know other people who have had trees removed and I felt that my price was very reasonable.

I shopped around and got three estimates. ArborTech had the best price quote, half of what the other two companies offered. I had an appointment that morning, when I returned home, 3 trees had already been removed and they were working on the 4th tree. One worker wanted to leave early and made excuses about the weather (it was overcast) and said they could come back the next day. He sat on a wheel barrow for over an hour until John, the owner arrived and started doing the tree climbing and cutting himself. It was that workers last day.
They were fast, cleaned up very well, and completed the job in one day. The clean up was great the price included grinding the tree stumps. The work was finished at 5 p.m.

If anyone is looking for a dependable, professional tree removal company in Myrtle Beach or Horry County, I would recommend them with high marks.

I contacted Arbortech to complete the grinding of a tree stump that another tree service, Mastercare, Inc., failed to properly grind in accordance with my work instructions. At the time that I contacted Arbortech, I informed the owner, John, that the failure of the prior tree service technician to properly grind the stump was delaying the construction of a concrete driveway at my home as the existing tree stump was in the path of the proposed driveway. Although John and Arbortech were involved in a large project approximately ninety miles from my residence, they made a noteworthy effort to resolve my problem quickly so that my concrete work would not be substantially delayed. One of the Arbortech workmen lives in the vicinity of my home and John sent him with the Arbortech stump grinding equipment to grind the stump on his way home from work after normal work hours. Arbortech's workman (Charlie) did an excellent job and quickly resolved the problem left by the prior tree service. While Charlie was on site, I asked him to remove some tree limbs that extended over the roof of my home. Charlie informed me that the work would require a permit from the Town of Surfside Beach. After I obtained the necessary permit, Charlie returned to remove the tree limbs. It was tedious work as the limbs were over my house and Charlie was careful to avoid dropping any debris on my roof. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the customer friendly attitude displayed by Arbortech. I would strongly recommend Arbortech to anyone in northeastern South Carolina who is in need of professional tree service.
