They have good selections of plants, and very knowledgeable staff. They have a lot of good advice about lawn and garden. They have a lot of availability and good staff, which can help people make a decision.

David was terrific to work with - while he works for Woodley's, HE is the business in this case. Since I'm a novice gardener, with very specific likes and dislikes, I was skeptical of bringing-in someone to create a truly unique design. I didn't want the typical landscape plants, and I wanted to work with the existing planting bed layout and terrain - I didn't want any hardscaping added due to the cost. When we initially met for the consultation, within a few minutes of begining the consult, I could tell David was going to be easy to work with. He listened intently and took a few notes on several requests I had. I paid him for the consult (by check), and he left me with the promise to call in a few weeks with a finished plan.

I got a call from David in a few weeks, and we met at the Irmo Woodley's Garden Center to review the plan. David delivered a truly unique architectural drawing and plant list. I honestly thought I'd have to substitute some plant selections to 'personalize' the plan to my tastes, but David really made some great choices. Unless I cannot find some of the plants locally, I don't think I'd change a thing.

Regardless of whether you are interested in the garden design process or not, I would recommend working with David on your landscaping project. There is no pressure to buy your plants from Woodley's or to use their installation services, so you can work with David and a landscaper of your choosing. That distinction was important for me, since I don't really care to buy my plants at retail prices from Woodley's. However, it is good to know that I can always fall-back on Woodley's if my landscaper cannot find my plant selections through their own wholesalers.

I needed help finding a large floor plant for my livingroom since I have been redocorating. I did not want it to grow over 6 feet. The person that helped me was very knowledgable and showed my quite a few plants to choose from. When I made my choice she told me how to take care of it. Someone else helped me load the plant in my car.

Excellent work and help with planning. Woodley's worked with us to design the planting area and handled the planting in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a go to place for everything. These people are the experts! Their prices are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. We will continue to go here in the future.
