Wildlife Solutions, Inc.

We were out of town and our security compay called us stating an alarm going off in our house. Upon return there were animal droppings in the area and a banana had been partially eaten. I called Wildlife Solutions (WS) and another wildlife contractor. Wildlife Solutions responded and came almost immediately, the other company did not call back for 24 hours. We then decided to have WS do the work they proposed even though we thought it VERY expensive.- $1450. They started that 1st afternoon, and sprayed, set traps and started blocking potential animal entrances. The 1st night a rat was caught in one of the traps. They took the animal (still alive - we had arranged to get it into a bucket before they came) and continued to seal the house the 2nd day. Traps were set in multiple places and left for a week - they checked them every other day. They caught no other animals and they, and we, assumed that their was only one animal inside when the house was sealed. Person who did the work, Andrew, was very informative, professional and knowledgeable. Except not liking the price we have no negative comments on their wotk.

They were really good about checking the traps daily to make sure that there wasn't anything in it. It was a live trap for catch-and-release and they didn't want anything caught and trapped. They came out for two weeks. The price wasn't bad. We were very satisfied with them. We feel like we can recommend them and feel good about it.

Well, about a month ago my wife complained of hearing noises in the attic. I honestly thought she was just hearing the house settle until I actually heard it myself. We then decided to call a company called Wildlife Solutions. I called because I had seen their zebra striped trucks before. We were set up with an appointment called an emulation the next day. Soon after i got off of the phone with them, i received a call from their technician ( Robert ). He said that he could not make that time, and asked if we could reschedule. After rescheduling for the next day, HE CALLED AGAIN. He said he was running behind and wanted to reschedule again. After several days passed, the emulation finally took place. When they were done with the evaluation, it was time to go over the quote. I expected it to be in the price range of $1000-$1500 dollars, NOT $6500! WOW, I asked him why it was so expensive and he told me several reasons why. He told me my insulation in the attic was damaged, and the cost of replacing it was included. I knew this was not entirely true because I use to sell insulation, and my insulation was not nearly damaged as he said it was. He also told me that a 5 year warranty was also included in the price to. I told him that it says 10 year warranty on the company website. He said he knew nothing of that and he was for certain it was only 5 years. I told him I would have to talk it over with my wife, and i wanted to do some research on their company before committing to such a large amount of money. When i typed their name on Google I found that they are not a part of the BBB, yet they use its logo. They were a part of it once, but were kicked out and have a score of F. Google also showed me a rip-off report that had been filed on them. Even though the technician was nice, there were too many things wrong with the situation. Needless to say, i found a company that offered a better warranty for half the price.

Everything was perfect. After they removed the raccoons, they repaired the spot where they were coming in from. They gave me a 5 year guarantee. They checked everything to prevent other animals coming into our home.
