Although he diagnosed problem over phone and ordered and showed up with necessary part, when he started the machine, he discovered another problem that would be prohibitively expensive to repair. I appreciated his advice to buy a new machine instead, as obviously that advice was against his own interests. Moreover, he could have fixed the problem I knew about, as I wouldn’t have known about the expensive issue if he hadn’t told me. He’s honest and competent—just what you want!

My GE refrigerator stopped cooling. I emailed Mr. Walters on Sunday afternoon & he called me in less than an hour. By the next afternoon, refrigerator was fixed. Very reasonable price. Dependable, honest and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again.

Mr. Walters provided outstanding service. When I called him to report the issue and before setting up the service appointment, he was very knowledgeable. He seemed to have a very good assessment of what my problem might be even before he made the service call. There was only a brief wait (a day or so) between my call to him and when he could get to my home and make the repair. He arrived at the time that was promised, and he accurately addressed the problem. He thoroughly explained the work that he was going to do in terms that I could understand. He was also very friendly, and my dog even liked him! She usually barks at every repair or maintenance worker who visits our home. From a conversation that we had, I gained the impression that he is honest and conducts his business with great integrity. I would definitely recommend him to others, and I'll absolutely call him again if I need appliances serviced!

Mr. Walters resolved the problem appropriately... in our initial call, he walked me through some diagnostic steps (which would have saved time if that had been enough to identify the problem... He came the same afternoon I called -- arriving within thirty minutes of the estimated time (which was just fine)... ... and once on site, fixed it without further complications. Excellent service -- will use as needed again!

Called Ray that morning and he was out late that afternoon. Quickly diagnosed that we had ice build up under the freezer drawer that prevented the bottom of the drawer from sealing completely allowing moisture to enter the freezer. The ice was caused by a leak from a defective water filter that had since been removed. Since the door could not close completely moisture was getting into the freezer and making the problem worse. Ray thawed the compartment completely and made sure the door seal was tight. And as a good professional Ray called back the next day to make sure the problem was not reoccurring. He is now in my contacts list.

I came home on Sunday night to find all of my food in the freezer was no longer frozen. Of all the many people I called, Ray was the only one who seemed concern, and came out the very next day. Everyone else couldn't come until a week or so. When I called him Sunday night he was even willing to give me some advice (on the phone) of things to try on my own to see if it would fix the issue. Even though I had to call LG to come out, I would advice anyone to use Ray Walter. He really cared and tried to help. Very Professional too.

The man showed early Advise me to buy a new Ref after he found what was wrong and fixed it ,But said the compressor is lock-up and it will burn the relay again so I took his advice

Mr. Walter fixed our Kenmore dryer. His service was excellent and charges were reasonable. He showed a really good understanding of how the appliance worked and had a methodical trouble shooting procedure that identified the faulty component. Scheduling was very convenient. Parts had to be ordered, so naturally that can take a day or two. But everything was finished in a reasonable time and the dryer worked perfectly after that. Yes I would use them again.

He was very friendly and punctual. He thoroughly examined the situation looking at the freezer, refrigerator and the icemaker line. Several times he asked me to help him with things because he was working on the other side of the refrigerator or couldn't see both sides at the same time. He showed me that he loosened a line running to the refrigerator which was frozen in place and told me that could explain why the thermostat wasn't working to properly regulate the freezer and he did not think we needed a new thermostat. He told me the water in the back was a separate problem. Finally, he said it was a faulty ice maker line that had been recalled. He told me I needed to call Whirlpool and request that it be repaired under warranty. He said it was a two man job so he could not do it himself. He helped me write down the serial number, model #, etc. We found out later that you have to book Whirlpool via a website. A different appliance service came out and said the source of the problem was the thermostat. They charged us $280 to replace the thermostat and that fixed both the freezer freezing too hard and the water in the back. I think that Walter's was trying to save us money, but ultimately it costs us more money and time than if they had replaced the thermostat originally.

The dryer vent because loose one day before a planned trip. Mr Walter came the same evening and made a temporary repair. I then arranged to have him come and replace the entire conduit which was old and not in a straight line. He and his son came Saturday early afternoon, did the work in less than two hours and everything is now working perfectly.

I called Mr. Walters after 5:00 on Thursay afternoon and he listened to the noise my washing machine was making and he said he knew what the problem was. He told me he could be at my house at 11:00 the next morning (7/3/09). He arrived right on time and had the machine working within 15 minutes. He was very professional and cleaned up when he was done. I was very pleased with his service and knowledge of appliances.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. SUCH A NICE, PROFESSIONAL MAN TO HAVE COME INTO YOUR HOUSE. HE IMMEDIATELY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND ORDERED A PART. HE CAME BACK ANOTHER DAY TO INSTALL THE PART. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER AND VERY WELL. I WILL CERTAINLY CALL HIM AGAIN.

Mr. Walters arrived early, diagnosed the problem in about 2 minutes (the fridge needed to be re-leveled), and solved it efficiently, even though the refrigerator's built-in levelers were already extended as far as they would go. Good work!

Mr. Walters was helpful from the beginning. He was able to come out to my house the day after I called him. He talked to me at length about what the problem was. He found that the thermal fuse had blown out, which caused the dryer to stop working. He checked the air flow, and walked me over to the outside duct to demonstrate the strength of the air flow. He thought it could be better, so he replaced the hose, explaining that the original hose was too long, and was causing the air to take a roundabout route, instead of going straight through. Afterwards, we walked back out to the outside duct, and the airflow was significantly better. In fact, after that, we have finally been able to get the clothes dried in one cycle, instead of needing to run it through 2 drying cycles. He was very professional, very courteous and very willing to explain to me what the problem was, even though he could tell I knew nothing about the subject.
