After searching for the past year for a hair dresser, I found Marlee at Urban Nirvana.  She was very professional and did a great job.  The
receptionists were very friendly and cheerful.  I will continue to get my hair done at this location.

I needed my hair cut due to a bad hair cut from a few weeks ago. I also had highlights added back into my hair. I had been waiting awhile to add color back to my hair so I had let it grow out. Marlee was awesome and knew exactly how to fix the previous bad hair cut. As soon as I started describing exactly what I wanted, she was able to let me know what we would be able to accomplish at that visit as far as color and what we could accomplish to fix the hair cut. My hair turned out perfectly. It was the perfect color and the perfect length to fix the previous hack job I had.
Marlee also spoke with me at length about different products and what is good for my hair, but I did not feel forced to buy any of her products that she was using either. The other big factor that will make me go back; she took the time to properly blow dry my hair straight and did not need to use a flat iron on my thick hair.
I am definitely going to go back to this salon again. I plan to make an appointment so she can show me how to blow dry my own hair so I don't have to keep using my flat iron.  I am also going to schedule an appointment to have my daughter's first hair cut done there. I felt confident that she would be able to cut her hair and get it the way I want it.

She offers excellent, deep, muscle work with strong but not overbearing hands.

I love Urban Nirvana! I love the and quot;relaxation roomand quot; (waiting area) and the massage services. I've also gone there for waxing, which was fine too, it's just that waxing is waxing in my opinion. The massages are great. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is no way you can leave this place stressed.
It is a little expensive. You can check their prices online before you go. I consider them a special treat and go a few times a year. Everyone is very professional and I don't feel weird about getting undressed. It's just a very serene and calming environment. Just writing this review makes me want to call them tomorrow for an appointment. This is my go to place for massage.

I called ahead and explained that my husband was very ill and weak. They scheduled him for a time when it was not busy in the salon. Christopher cut his hair and did a fabulous job. We were taken right away and we were in and out in 30 minutes. Best of all it looked like Christopher had been doing his hair for years. It gave my husband such a boost to be looking groomed again.

I had an 11am appointment to get partial highlights and a haircut and was a little bit early. The woman at the front desk said that my stylist would be with me shortly. I sat there for 30 minutes! A few times, I asked about whether or not it would be much longer, and I was assured that it would only be a few more minutes. I noticed that the stylist was nowhere to be found, and when I finally did spot her, she was entering the salon from the back door. I think she must have been on break. Strangely, there were no apologies on anyone's end.
I probably wouldn't have let that bother me too much, but unfortunately, it took her well over an hour and half to do the highlights, and the job she did was horrendous! I have random streaks here and there, which are definitely noticeable and are clearly mistakes. By the time she finished with the highlights, it was well after 1pm, and she hadn't even started my haircut. I decided to pass on the cut because I had a bunch of other commitments that afternoon, and at that point, I was pretty frustrated with the whole experience. I spent way too much for a less than mediocre job.

The staff is extremely friendly and it's very easy to make an appointment. I just love going there and I feel like a different person when I leave.

I loved everything she did. What I like best about her foiling is that she gets in close to the root. I have been to other colorists where it looks like my roots are still showing because they are afraid the foil will "leak". They also do bang trimming free between cuts which is nice. Everyone there is very friendly and upbeat.

She is very professional, nice, and cute as well. This was 3rd visit. First 2 went very well as did this one, but had to return for minor touch up on cut and color which was done at no extra charge since the touch up was within 1 week. Easy to get appointments and everyone very friendly. The first haircut was the best I have ever had.

The atmosphere upon arrival was very upscale and professional. I was taken into a room to change into a robe and slippers. While I wanted for the massage therapist, I was offered flavored water and snacks. The sounds of soothing music and waterfalls was very calming. Trista was my therapist and she comes highly recommended. Her massage was amazing and I booked another appointment with her before I left.

They were great. I go in to the salon and there is reception area there and I have to wait for a few minutes. The guy that cut my hair was Justin, and I don't know the guy's name that did my eye brows, and as soon as my eyebrows were done he was ready for me for my hair and colored it and talked to me a lot about what I wanted and he did exactly what I wanted and he was friendly and very pleasant.
