Most of their products are very durable. I recommend them, they have good quality stuff. The people that work for them are courteous, and friendly. I just have no complaints against that.

I'm having a little a problem with the microwave and I do have a extended service coverage with it and I'm in the process of calling them to come and check it out and see what is wrong with that.
I would recommend Sears in anywhere but I would caution them to be to be a alert with the products they buy right now Sears does not have same sort of recommendation I would have given them five or twenty years ago.
They are friendly.

Nothing has gone right since I signed the contract with Corey. Sears contracted this out to a crew lead by a clown named Eric Stover. They damages my paint by sliding their ladders along my house. Eric said it was my fault for getting my house painted first. Right now at this current moment they are on the third try to install a sky light. They have set up an obstacle course of nails all through the yard. They have not replaced the rotten wood on the back of my house. They also took my ladder but managed to leave me a beer can in my barn. Eric has accused me now of stealing my own ladder. Finally when it comes time to contact anyone about these issues it's next to impossible to get Kevin Shoop to call or email back. I even setup an appointment to meet with Eric today but hey again he has failed to come to my house. I feel like because I'm a women they think they can talk down to me and try to make me feel stupid or blame me for the issues with this project. I would never recommend Sears roofing to anyone ever.

I made an appointment with Sears to repair a dishwasher. I did this through their website, where you are given the option of choosing between two time blocks, 8AM to Noon and 1PM to 5PM. I chose the afternoon window. They sent an email confirming the appointment and providing a link to the appointment. Everything seemed fine.
The date of the appointment rolled around and I waited. At four-o-clock I still hadn't heard from the repair tech so I checked my email. There was an email from Sears providing updated information on the appointment. I clicked on the link, was taken to their site where I discovered that the technician wouldn't be able to get to me until 6:45 or later.
I was furious.
I'd wasted an entire afternoon sitting around my house waiting on the tech to show. If I hadn't clicked on the link in the email, I wouldn't have known at all that the appointment window had been changed.
I called Sears and got a woman whom I could barely understand. I told her I wanted to cancel the appointment. She kept trying to get me to reschedule. I kept repeating that I wanted to cancel the appointment. She finally got the message and said they would notify the technician.
I get off the phone with her and five minutes later the technician calls to confirm that the appointment was cancelled. I confirm that it was. Then he starts asking if I want to reschedule. I say no.
I am extremely irritated regarding this matter. Sears failed to provide any information in the second email that the time had been changed. Also, if they were aware that the tech wouldn't be able to arrive until after the scheduled window, why didn't someone in their customer service department call me? They could have asked if I wanted to reschedule for a later date. I would have been willing to consider it then, but finding out as I did, I'm not pleased at all.
As it is, I will not call Sears Repair Service again and would not recommend them to anyone else.

They came right out and assessed the situation. They did a great job and made it easier to sell my home.

Very bad experience. The service was very unreliable. I purchased a refrigerator freezer from Sears. The light was defective and heated the food while the door was closed. I had to throw away all of my food. They said that parts needed to be ordered, and to call them when they were delivered. I called and they could not come for three weeks. We scheduled the appointment, they called to confirm the day before, but with a different time. As we were returning from vacation, I was not able to be there on the new time. In order to change, it would be another three weeks. I have children, and that was way too long to be without a working refrigerator.

The person who came out broke the freezer and it took them a week to come out and fix the refrigerator. We were without a fridge for week. They do not out source to reliable companies.

I encountered the best salesman I have ever met in my life. He was the most patient young man. He worked with me for three hours until I was completely satisfied with my choices. He explained things over and over again because I got confused looking for refrigerators. Until I would say "Okay Jermaine I know that these are my two top refrigerators, tell me what I liked about each one". And he would tell me, it was great. He was wonderful, he was just patient and knowledgeable. He knew his products and if he had a question he wouldn't hesitate to ask his supervisor. He was just really well schooled in what they had available.
