I have used Caroline Weber as our vet for 16 or 17 years. Over the years, she has cared for 8 of our dogs and 5 cats. She is excellent. She is very supportive of folks who work with rescue animals, helping where she can to make resources go as far as possible without compromising the care provided to the animals. She puts the quality of life of the animals before everything else while being sensitive and supportive of owners. She has performed surgery on several of my animals and did an excellent job. Although she has performed a wide range of services on my animals, she has also referred them to specialists as needed. Each time her diagnosis and treatment was affirmed by the specialists. Several times the specialists commented on the skill of the previous surgeon. When I told them it was Dr. Weber, they had nothing but the highest praise for her work and her reputation.
I moved outside of Columbia 6 years ago. At her suggestion, I tried a local vet, but I returned to Rosewood Animal Hospital for the all around care and support of Dr Weber and her staff. I drive 35 miles each way for every visit. I have shown up without an appointment on a weekend with a very ill cat who was beginning to suffer. They treated him with such affection and dignity when he was put to sleep. The staff were so supportive. They refused to charge me.
I know there are many good veterinarians out there, but I want my animals to have the care they receive at Rosewood. My animals LOVE to go there.

She's just a professional in all respects. But she's a girl too!!

Over the phone, the receptionist was brusk and a little rude. But, she was able to make me an appointment for the same week. When I arrived, the office smelled fresh and clean - with no hit of bad animal smells at all. I was sent directly into the exam room and waited only a short time to see first the vet tech and then the vet. Both we're very friendly and caring with my dog. I felt she was concerned with the well being of my dog, but didn't push me to consider any products or additional services that he didn't necessarily need. I will definitely take my dog back in the future.

Dr. Weber is my regular vet. I have only had positive experiences with her. She is really charming and warm and genuinely interested in animal welfare. She has never overcharged me and has always been upfront about how much services will cost. She understands that we don't have a lot of money but want what is best for our animals. I really like this about her and her workers. Her staff is very competent and one in particular has been very helpful. She has offered her advice and I have been very appreciative of it. The only drawback is that they are not always open on holidays and once I had to go to another vet. This was not a good experience, so I wish they worked holidays, but I understand that everyone needs to have a life. Rosewood Dr. also works with shelter animals and this impresses me. The office is not fancy like some other clinics in the columbia area, but I am really happy with her office and will continue to go there.

My dog was a patient of theirs. She started having some problems holding her head up and I took her in. She was diagnosed with a benign condition. I left her with the vet because I had to go out of town for work. I called several times and finely they told me she didn't want to walk- but she could. I came home early. They said it was not life threatening and she could wait 2 weeks to see a specialist. When I paid they weren't going to tell me they had put an iv and cath in her- saw it on bill and asked them. They had to carry her to the car. When I got home I had to have help carrying her in the house. She was so excited to be home she keep trying to get up but kept falling and rolling over on her head. I got her into a specialist in Charlotte the next day. She had a brain tumor and would never be able to stand or walk again even with radiation, surgery and or chemo. She was put to sleep the next day. Can't believe a vet could see an animal rolling over on their head when they try to get up and think that they could wait 2 weeks to see a specialist about it. I have two dogs now with heart problems and will never take them there.

Dr. Weber is great. I can't say enough about what a wonderful vet she is and how well she interacts with the animals. Over the years Dr. Weber has always mixed common sense with her direction on how to proceed with a sick pet. She is always considerate of the pet's quality of life from any procedure and will never recommend something "just for the money". Care and love always come first with her.

Dr. Weber and her whole staff are always professional and thorough. I use them for all of my animals needs and have for over 20 years. Routine annual shots, neuters/spays, meds., etc. and some unpleasant things like having an animal put to sleep are some of the things I have counted on them for for so many years. I can't imagine going anywhere else. They all have a wonderful bedside manner with my dogs. They have taken appointments for me at the last minute so many times and always seem to work me in. This is also important to me.
