Re-Bath of the Midlands

Re-Bath did an excellent job, making the bathrooms just as I had specified. They were prompt arriving, worked efficiently, and completed the job in the time specified. I had asked them to mod a couple of things that were different from their usual pattern of work, and they willingly accommodated me. Re-Bath is pricey, but their work merits it. (I also had a quote from Bath Fitters that was almost the same but they would not deviate from their pattern.)

This was a great experience.  Debbie and Tim O'Farrell, the owners of Rebath of the Midlands, are easy to work with, responsive, and so knowledgeable about the products offered and bathroom designs.  Their business focuses on improving access for "aging in place" while keeping the esthetics at a premium.  Their structure is different from most contractors in that their employees do the work rather than subs.  The only exception is special licensed work such as electrical.  This allows them to control scheduling more effectively.  They were respectful of my time and my home.  One of the owners came each day to inspect work and to discuss next steps with me.  Calls were returned promptly.  Could not have asked for a better group of folks to work with.

As an added bonus, Debbie O'Farrell is a master at planning bathrooms and providing you with a wide selection of products for your specific use.  I have all the features of a spa with easy access for aging included in the design. 

No one would ever know that the bath has these ADA components built in.

From the first contact at a home and garden show to completion of project EVERY person that we dealt with at Re bath were so knowledgable and professional. Every call was returned promptly and every request was met with a smile. The only things that were a little hard to deal with was the time frame (about 3 weeks) and the price. The cost was a lot but so was the work performed, overall it was well worth it and I would do it again in a minute. The 3 week time frame was no fault of re bath it was just that the shower was custom built and the glass required a 10 day time frame to make and ship. We love our new bathroom!!

Two very polite and friendly installers promptly arrived at 9 a.m on the scheduled date. At 4 pm I had a new shower. The next morning they promptly arrived at 9 am and at 4 pm my old floor and toilet was removed, and a beautiful tile floor and toilet were installed. When I arrived home after work, the project was completed. Everything was clean and there was no evidence that my bath room had been demolished and replaced with a new shower area,except my 30 year old bath room was now apart of the 21st century!
I was amazed that they some how removed the heavy iron tub from a very small space without sawing it in half. More amazing was their ability to carry it through two narrow doors and down stairs without wall dents or a scratch.
I would have done this project years sooner if I knew how easy this overwhelming project would be.
Re Bath of Columbia,SC has a large show room and a staff to make suggestions and explain options. Their staff was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Taking samples home allowed me to narrow down my choices. In the end, their advice turned out to be the best..
Before choosing Re Bath of Columbia, I had researched other installers and big box stores. The choice of design, styles, and colors were very limited. Most important, the other vendors did not have the personal help or variety that Re Bath provided. Their large show room made it easy to see different ideas to think about. Re Bath is more expensive than some places, but they have the market on quality and state of the art products. When the sales rep told me that they could cover my old existing wall tile, I stopped looking for other options.
