our air-conditioning went out a day and a half ago and it was unbearably hot in our house. I looked on Angie's list and selected precision air I called yesterday and they set up an appointment for 8 AM this morning with Tom. He arrived on time was very friendly I showed him the thermostats and where the units were and he went immediately to work. We were afraid we might need new units and some other companies might have sold us New air-conditioning units but Tom didn't he encouraged us to get a maintenance program and we did and next week they will come out and service all three of our units.
My husband and I are both delighted with the service and would highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future

Prompt response to initial call. Part procured as promised. Called when repairman knew he would be 30 to 45 minutes late for the appointment, then showed up as promised. I also received an email notification when repairman was on the way. I did have to call them to inquire about the status of their location of the part needed for a repair, but the customer service person had received a report about the weekend call and was able to give me a status update immediately on the phone.

We made an appointment for a tech to come troubleshoot why the upstairs unit was not blowing cool air. He arrived on time but did not have the tools to troubleshoot the line. What a waste of our time! We ask him to call someone else that did have the tools needed to test for a leak and he said everyone else was booked up and could not come until the following Monday. What? It was 100 plus degrees outside. Oh, we were charged over 80 dollars for the visit. What a waste of our money. Monday came and a new tech came out and was on time but was in a rush to get us done so he would not miss his other appointments. He began looking for the leak and could not find one. He was getting ready to call it a day when my husband said he would help him look for the leak. It was my husband that found the leak not the tech! So guess what he did not have enough time to fix it that day and we had to make third appointment for him to come back. It took him only 15 minutes to do the accrual work that in the end fixed our cooling issue... :(
I would not use Precision Cooling again. They need to focus on getting the issues resolved and putting the customer first. They show up on time but have their tech's on such a tight schedule. It was clear to me that the company prides itself on punctuality above getting the job done. What a huge inconvenience! And it was not cheap....Response from Precision Air Cooling & Heating Service

Our upstair HVAC unit stopped working on a very hot Sunday. Called precision air and got a return phone call back from them in minutes and Lewis was out to the house within an hour! He was very professional and was able to troubleshoot and make the needed repairs in an hour. Price was very fair for a Emergency Weekend repair. Thankfully our house was cooled back down for the evening. Service was so good I signed up for their maintenance contract. Highly Recommend.

I called Precision Air on a Thursday morning, they had Travis to my home that afternoon. This was obviously a busy time for AC related repairs. By Wednesday of the following week, Travis had repaired one unit and completely replace the other. Some places I called couldn't even send a technician for a couple of weeks. I am completely satisfied with the work performed. I will make sure to have my heating and air needs handled by this firm going forward. Travis was great to work with and I especially appreciated his honesty and openness as we discussed the myriad of issues that needed to be resolved. Great company and great people.

My downstairs HVAC system was about to croak, so I sought quotes from three companies for a replacement. Precision Air stood out from the rest. They were prompt and accommodating to my schedule in obtaining a quote, and took time to explain how their quote met the criteria I set. Brandon Fuller, Service Manager at Precision Air, was courteous, candid, and professional. I peppered Brandon with many emails asking all sorts of questions about their quote, and he answered them all, often after work hours. Precision Air offered me an American Standard system that delivered on all my criteria, but was especially responsive to my interest in investing in the most energy efficient system I could afford. Precision Air also relocated the compressor and an existing heat pump serving my separate upstairs system, and replaced my thermostats. Precision Air's scheduling, customer service, and workmanship were outstanding. All this at a price that no other company I called could match.

Brian was the repair technician. He was very professional and thorough. He explained in detail our options for repair and then gave me time to make an informed decision. He also gave options for payment. When I agreed to have the work done he completed the repairs very efficiently and it did not take long.

Great experience from the dispatcher to the technician. They were flexible with scheduling and welcomed my questions to plan the first visit. The technician contacted me to coordinate arrival and then was prompt, professional, friendly, informative, patient, and knowledgeable. The technician also took the time to keep the house clean by wearing shoe covers. I scheduled the return visit for the modifications to the system and had the same experience. This time there were two technicians. Even with the cutting of drywall in the ceiling and walls, they were very neat. They used drop cloths to keep the place clean, and even offered to vacuum the little dust that was left behind. They took the time to explain the changes and showed me how to work the systems after the changes.
