Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Of Columbia

OLP is amazing.  They provided outdoor lighting on 3 sides of my home.  It's absolutely beautiful.  The entire process was so easy.  They kept me informed the entire way.  And as I was standing outside last night taking pictures, a passerby rolled her car window down to tell me how beautiful the lighting made my home.

Very smooth. Calls returned promptly with quick follow-up and scheduling. Professional service, including courtesy call indicating that technician was running late (10 minutes). Everything cleaned up afterwards. Definitely will use them again.

Joel and Jeramie (columbia) were wonderful. They were very responsive to my emails and phone calls. Their prices were reasonable compared to their competitors.

Original work and annual maintenance has been excellent. Always prompt, courteous, and easy to get when and if you need them. We have been very pleased.

Our experience was great! Assessment was quick. Crew arrived promptly as scheduled. Job was completed in time frame given. Very thankful some fixtures were able to be salvaged. They were honest regarding that fact; shows integrity.

This was a wonderful experience. Tyler was very professional and so was the team. They showed up on time and after the installation walked me through the yard to show me the lights. The back yard looks like a resort now with the beautiful landscape lighting OLP installed. I will utilize OLP for all of my lighting needs in the future. They were great to work with and used quality fixtures. I highly recommend OLP - very professional, efficient and reliable.
I wish I had utilized OLP for our previous lighting jobs and we are considering having OLP take over the older lighting fixtures we previously had installed by another contractor.

I had a low voltage lighting system (approximately 80 lights) installed about 10-15 years ago. Worked okay for awhile-kept blowing circuit breaker every other week which then required resetting clock and frequently various lights would go out. Also a lot of wires running between lights were exposed and not covered/buried. Had an electrician and then landscaper with lighting experience work on-both got more lights working but same problem as before. Based on reviews in Angie"s List, gave Outdoor Lighting Perspectives a call. Talked to Mike. He came out to the house, took a look at the system, and told me he could fix it for around $9,000. This included putting in a light sensor to automatically turn lights off and on instead of a clock, rewiring it, fixing the good lights, replacing the bad ones, adding some new lights, and replacing transformers if needed. In short, he gave me a guarantee that I would have a good and reliable system. Told him okay.
Came out on the appointed day with his crew and worked all day on the system. Came back again at 8:30 PM to check on the system with me. System worked perfectly. Saw some areas that I wanted to add some lights to and he came back that week to put them in.
The initial estimate of $9000 became $10,500 and with the extra lights, $11,500. I haven't counted the lights, but estimate about 110 now. Has a 2 year warranty and can purchase a maintenance contract after that.
Expensive, yes, but worth it. Mike and his crew were polite, professional, and did an excellent job. They gave me a feeling of confidence that they knew what they were doing. Cleaned up after themselves and, oh yes, no more exposed wires.
In the future, as various plants grow, I will probably want to change things-maybe add some lights or reposition current ones. Whatever, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives is the only company I would call.

Terrific service from Mike Thompson and his team from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives.  Mike did an analysis of our needs, and his team arrived on time (actually he called to come early) and was efficient in installing the lights.  Mike returned that evening to verify our satisfaction with the lights and when we discussed additional requirements Mike quickly scheduled the team to complete the additional work in less than a week.  Very satisfied with the installation and our house, pool and yard look great.  Looking forward to being a long-time customer and highly recommend Mike Thompson to anyone in Columbia considering outdoor lighting.

We had previously used this company to install outdoor lighting for our front yard.  They did a great job, came back to check it, did the annual follow up for cleaning, very responsive and courteous.  We contacted them for a quote to install additional lighting for our back yard, we weren't able to do all we wanted, but they still offered us a generous return customer discount on our small project.  They kept in touch via email and phone, were in and out quickly, asked us to check the lights that night to ensure we were satisfied, and if not to please call.  If everything was satisfactory, we could mail a check or pay over the internet; couldn't ask for better customer service.  We'll definitely be calling them again.  Thanks Guys!!

Awesome!  Very professional staff - very meticulous in their work; they take great pride in wanting to satisfy their customers. They are not the cheapest; however, they are the best!

They cam as scheduled, performed the needed changes and our hour looks lovely.  They were great to work with!

On time for estimate and job was completed in timely manner.
