It was a wonderful experience, Mr Boyd(Olin) and an associate came to my home and measured the area we wanted fenced. They were very punctual and proffessional, gave us an estimate. We liked them so much that we didn't get any other estimates! My husband and I decided they were the company we wanted. They came back out, did detailed measurements and within a week or so they had fabricated the fencing, came and did a "fit" with the actual pieces. They removed them, to have them final coated and then returned a few days later to install. Both my husband and I are totally happy with the end results. The fencing is wonderful and looks beautiful.. It was such a delight to work with Olin Metal Work!   Wish we needed more fencing.

Arrived on day scheduled.  Completed work same day.  There were some finishing touches to be made, and we didn't have to mention them.  When Mr. Boyd called us, he told us what needed to be done and when.  Very honest.  Stood behind his work.  Product is good quality.

It's a small porch and he installed some wrought iron hand railings. He did an excellent job. When I did the request, he called me immediately and we set up a time to come out and give me an estimate. He came out, he was on time. He was a very easy person to work with. I have no complaints. He did an excellent job. I think the price was excellent. It was within my budget. He was professional.

I contacted Olin Metal Works and left a message stating that I needed an estimate to install safety rails on my balcony railings.  Mr. Boyd returned my call, came by to discuss the job and gave me an estimate, all in the same day. Feeling like his estimate was reasonable, I contacted Mr. Boyd the next day and asked him to schedule the job. He came by once again to confirm the job and scheduled the job for that following Monday. Mr. Boyd and his assistant showed up Monday morning as discussed and completed the job the same day.  Mr. Boyd and his assistant were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy with the work that was done. The bars that were added blend in nicely with the existing rails and look as though they were part of the original installation. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services in the future.

We are very pleased with the work and results. When the railing he fabricated did not quite fit, he remade it so that it fit perfectly. They always cleaned up after themselves and left the front porch neat. Olin helped us choose decorative pieces (Palmetto trees) that made the finished product quite original and distrinctive.
On final installation, one of the iron railing surfaces was not finished well. There were uneven surfaces and the powder coating was not the best. Olin worked to refinish this railing and after several refinishes, all met our satisfaction. After we paid the final bill, he still worked to make the railing the best possible and to please us.
Olin realized that his quote was over the final price that he wanted to charge so he deducted from the quoted price. We were so pleased with the work and the new price that we went ahead and paid him more than his quote and final price.
Olin is a good man of character that we trusted and would certainly hire him again.

These men were wonderful, gentlemen, and the railings look brand new! I highly recommend their business. They will do any work involving metal, as they fabricate also. As they said, "if you can draw it, we will make it!" I believe them!

I was thoroughly pleased with the experience. They came out the very next day, arrived on schedule, and did a quality job. What's more is they didn't charge for the service since they guaranteed their work.

I contacted Olin on a Monday with a job that needed to be completed by that Thursday - this was a last minute search. Olin was very prompt to return my call and quickly reviewed my drawings and description of the project. He worked me into his schedule and fabricated the parts to my exact specifications and he also suggested modifications that enhanced the end product. He also save me the aggrivation of having to tow the large cooker to his shop and came to my house to weld the shields into place. He arrived on time and completed the installation quickly. The workmanship was impressive! Olin is very professional, courteous, and is a pro at his trade. I have a couple of other projects that will require a welder and Olin will be my first choice for those.

eCame and measured when scheduled. Quoted price with options. Rail was available for installation 3 days later(WOW).
Shduled installation for following week. Came as scheduled, made some on the spot modifications as requested, installed rail and final paint. Great service, great to work with.on a custom design.

Came to the house and did design and measuements. Then e-mailed an estimate[I had others]. When I accepted his

offer he can back to make sure the measurements were correct and to go over design to make sure we were in agrement.
Gave me a date of when I could except job completion and he met the date. I all him back to make a minor adjustment and he did with no delay.

I initially called to get an estimate and promptly received a return phone call and he was able to come the same day. After agreeing on a price, which was very reasonable, we set a date for the installation. He was actually able to install the rails a day early, and they look fantastic. I would definitely recommend Olin Metal Works and I would definitely use them in the future. We definitely had a great experience.

he had issues getting the welds to stay with the amoutn of rust but was able to get the job done with adverse conditions. They obviously know their trade well.

I CALLED HIM TUESDAY MORNING - HE CAME AND GAVE ME ESTIMATE AND THE WORK WAS DONE ON WEDNESDAY

I called and left a message, he returned my call and told me to come by with the item. When I got there he immediately performed the weld and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Great to work with and will definitely use him again for our metal work needs.

He knew what to do and did it effeciently.
