I took my 2008 Pontiac Vibe in for an oil change. The service advisor called and stated that the cabin air filter needed to be replaced for $40 plus labor. When I picked the car up I checked the receipts I found that the filter had just been changed 10K miles ago at the GM dealer and change is recommended every 30K miles. I asked to see the "dirty" filter and was told it was trashed. When I tested out the car the fan was making a new rumbling noise on high fan. I complained to the owner. Mr. Nuttall became very angry. He was acting like he could be violent. He said that there was not a mechanic available but I could bring it back. I took it back to GM but the rumbling noise could not be fixed. The perfectly good GM filter was thrown away so Nuttalls could make extra cash and my car still makes the same noise. Dishonest, not recommended.

She found them to be honest. They said she would need 4 tires, but she didn't have the money at that time. One tire that was really bad, they repaired it for her for free. They are highly recommended, so they were great. They told her that she really needs the tire and gave her the amount for 4 tires. They told her to be careful because her tires are really bad. They are very personable. I think that is a good service. She would use them as her mechanic. The price was good. They quoted $358 for four brand new tires, so that's a good price.

Went to replace alternator on Lexus RX330. Showed up first thing Saturday, so I was one of the first in line. Brought my own alternator and they were fine with installing it; only the labor would obviously be covered under warranty. I was in and out in a couple hours, everything seemed okay. I did have a bit of a rattle somewhere under the hood that I hadn't noticed before, but sold the car shortly thereafter. If I kept the car I would have gone back to see what was going on.
These guys have a good reputation in Columbia, even though the location is old and kind of sketchy. It's no Lexus dealership, that's for sure! But they get the work done for a LOT less than the dealer!

I had oil changed at Firestone ($21). they said I had an oil leak and it would cost $780 to fix. I had my wife take to Nuttall for a second opinion, they said it shouldn't be driven so we let them fix it. Cost more than $2,600 to get the car back. They seemed to try to run the bill up even charged for another oil change ($31) although they were told it had just been changed. Cant tell from the bill what the labor charges were for.

I would highly recommend them to anybody who is looking for that kind of work. They schedule, they are on time, they work on the schedule, and they keep it a schedule. They are very straightforward on the analysis, and the cost. The pricing is fair for what they do. They are not the cheapest around, but they are fair. You can schedule a service and be expected to be scheduled at the time. I use them about 4 times a year.

Good tires, good service and they check them free every 5,000 miles making any adjustments appropriate with no additional charge.

Installed tires as required. Tires were well balanced, no problems.
They notified me that there was a potential problems with one wheel bearing and there was indeed a problem, so it was very helpful that this was identified so that it could be repaired.

I spoke with Joey on the phone. I had gotten quotes from other companies. Joey was able to match the lowest quote and also had the tires installed in the short time frame that I requested due to another appointment I had. They used a specific tire balancing method that I requested. They also let me inspect my brakes while the wheels were off the vehicle and pointed out a potential problem that I could repair myself.
I am VERY pleased with their professionalism and quality work. I have used them in the past and will definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend them.

They are a family run company. They're very honest and efficient. They take appointments and get the work done in a timely manner.

They could do it that day with a reasonable wait. The car was finished quickly. They were upfront on needs and answered all my questions. As a female, you don't always feel like you are getting a fair shake but I never felt this way here. Recommended by my bother who uses them too.

This is not my first time going here, I go to them for all my auto services, from oil change to tires or any repair. I thought I needed brakes, also requested an oil change. And they checked the brakes--I did not need repair. This is why I go to a reputable, trustworthy company like Nuttall. How often can you say your car repair guys won't charge you for unneeded services? I found this company through Angie's list, and I've stayed with them.

They had good hours and took care of the problem in an emergency situation for us. We were pleased with the results and the price seemed fair.

It was very good. Everything was on time and they responded to my inquiries over the phone and in person. They gave me enough information to make the right choice on what kind of tire I needed, they even included a rebate with Michelin that they would send to them. The tires, after they had them installed, were very dirty when I got the car back. A few of them looked like the tires had been driven through mud. That was my only issue with them.

I would tell others that they were great. I am looking at using them again because I have several coworkers that still use them and they come highly recommended. They are very well known in my home town where I live and have a good reputation. The last job they did went great. It is defiantly a family owned and they take the trouble to explain everything to me and it is more of an intimate thing and I know what I am going to get. They don't sell me things that I don't need or charge more than they should. I would use them again in the future.

The van feels wonderful, thanks Tommy! It rides much smoother, the ABS light is gone and the loud noise from the AC is not loud any more! Also, lights inside the cabin are lighting up at night that I didn't know existed! Guess we really did need a tune up. Having the fuel filter replaced seems to also have increased our fuel economy but we are still researching this. The service at Nuttal is professional and honest. As a woman I feel comfortable going there and know that I will get quality service for my vehicle. Also, check their website for coupons off major services like $50 off $500 or more.

Nuttall's knows tires, that is their focus. Made phone appointment, dropped car in morning, they completed ahead of their committed time by several hours. Car had decent tires b4, but alignment noticeably improved, smooth ride so balance job also very good. Didn't damage aluminum rims, and steering wheel centered after alignment. pet peeves. they did use clip on weights, I thought they would use stick on weights to clean up wheels: they said clip ons maintain balance better. Never heard that one. overall very satisfied with the job. I will use them again.
