My favorite flip flops broke the day before our scheduled vacation. I called as a first time customer to inquire if they could be repaired today. Not only did he provide same day service, he repaired them within five minutes of me walking in the door. Amazing service. I will definitely be returning!

He did a fabulous job. The pair that needed new soles had been previously fixed by a different business, whose work didn't last long. Upon arrival at Mel's, he explained that the sole that was out on was not actually a sole and was poorly done (I'll review that place separately so you know where NOT to go!). The workmanship and professionalism at Mel's is unmatched. Will be a customer for life!!

My wife took my dress shoes there 2 days ago and picked them up today. I needed new soles and heels on the shoes. This is the 2nd time they've been re-soled in about 3 years. The original price on the shoes was around $200. The uppers are still in great shape, but the soles and heels were worn badly.
When I got the shoes back today, they looked like they were brand new! The work was absolutely top notch, the timing was great, and I feel like I have a new pair of shoes. The overall finish work was excellent.
