LOWE'S

Water heater went out over night 4/5/2014. I checked Lowe's website which offers same day installation and no measurement fee if you order water heater before 12 noon. I went in at 10:00 am on 4/7/2014 and was told I had to pay a $35.00 measurement fee to start process. I paid the fee but measurement was not completed until after 4:00 pm on 4/7/2014. I called Lowes when they opened on 4/8/2014 and was told they were waiting for the details to be faxed to them and they would call me back. They called back about 10:15 am and said I would have to come in and pay for the water heater and installation before they could set up install. I was there by 10:30 am {it's 2 miles from my house} and completed the transaction and was told they would call with an install time. I came home and called the phone number listed on the Lowe's website and asked about the and quot;same day installationand quot;. I was told they would contact the local Lowe's and expedite the install. About an hour later the local Lowe's called to tell the install could not be done until the next afternoon [4/9/2014] between 4:00-6:00 pm. So the and quot;same day installation and quot; was more than 48 hours later.


The installer Delta Plumbing was the bright spot. They were on time did a quick professional installation and were pleasant and easy to deal with.

They're very good overall, the price is nice and so is the quality of work. The company is very responsive and always on time.
