They sold you the door. The purchase was fine. They sent a fabulous installer, but the door is defective. The installer came back to confirm that it was a manufacturer defect. They told me that I would have to contact the door company myself because it is covered under their warranty. Even if they did send a replacement, they would not cover the installation. Ultimately, Home Depot agreed to send an installer to replace the part. Job completed; door appears to work fine. Do not think a customer should have to beg, plead and threaten to have a retailer do the work that is associated with a defective product.
